2017 COMMUNITY SERVICE REPORT Arrowhead in the Community
ArrowHeart Foundation Through ArrowHeart, our purpose is to give back to the communities we serve.
Backpack Drive Always Have School Supplies Together with HomeAid Inland Empire and Operation Grace, we helped fill 225 backpacks and over 40,000 school supplies for children in need.
Read Across America Team members read their favorite Dr. Seuss books to 25 classrooms at Windrows Elementary School, plus donated 89 books and Dr. Seuss plush toys to celebrate Read Across America Day. I like to read, oh yes I do. I like to read, I ll read with you. Dr. Seuss
Diaper Duty We donated more than 17,000 diapers, wipes, and baby supplies to HomeAid Inland Empire to help local families.
Snacks For USO We love to show our appreciation for our service men and women. Team Arrowhead collected more than 10,000 snacks and beverages for troops visiting Bob Hope USO Ontario.
Believe Walk Always Headed Towards a Cure Our largest group ever of 181 walkers participated in the 10th Annual Believe Walk. Team Arrowhead raised more than $7,000 for the cause, and is proud to stand together in the fight against cancer.

Cards 4 Kidz Always Heartfelt Such warmth can be shared through a handwritten note. That s why, in 2017, we wrote more than 300 cards to kids at Loma Linda University Children s Hospital to help lift their spirits and bring a little cheer.
A Flag For Every Hero More than 100 volunteers spent Memorial Day and Veterans Day remembering our military heroes who bravely served our country. Together with our families, we placed more than 4,000 flags at the graves of veterans buried at Riverside National Cemetery. We are forever grateful for our veterans service and sacrifice.
Appreciating Those Who Help Others We love dropping in with treats for those who work hard to serve our community every day.
We ve made a difference in our community one kind gesture at a time! $ 7,000 Donated to local cancer programs and services 10,000 Snacks given to local soldiers leaving for deployment 17,000 Baby care items collected for local shelters 300 Handmade cards given to children in the hospital 75 Units of blood donated 40,000 School supplies to local students in need 400 1,400 2,000 Gifts donated to local children during the holidays Clothing and personal care items for local people in need Thanksgiving food items provided to the homeless 4,000 Flags placed at a local veterans cemetery 1,180 Hours volunteered with local organizations 562 Miles walked for cancer awareness
Random Acts Of Kindness Always Have Kindness Every month we go out into the community to perform a random act of kindness. Our team loves to be a part of making someone s day just a little bit brighter.

Covering Our Community It s no fun being caught in the rain. When a storm comes, we love heading out into our community to give out umbrellas.
Branching Out Our branch teams love taking time to give back to their local community. From participating in local charity races to cleaning up nearby parks, they take pride in helping make a difference for the members that they serve every day.

Always Handy Our hardworking volunteers surprised San Bernardino s youngest students at The Right Track Preschool & Child Care to make their playground a little brighter as they started a new school year.
Collecting Items For Our Community Our team members lined up to donate 1,400 gently loved personal items to people across the community. We collected children s clothing for Steven s Hope, clothes for children aging out of foster care, and professional attire for the Career Center at Cal State University San Bernardino.
Saving Lives Every 2 seconds someone in the U.S. needs blood. More than 75 team members volunteered to donate blood with LifeStream, helping with the growing need for blood supply in local hospitals.
Thanksgiving Meals One of our favorite ways to give back during the holidays is to feed local families at Mary s Mercy Center in San Bernardino. Team members donated and delivered more than 2,000 food items to those who otherwise may not have had a Thanksgiving meal.
Always Here for Holiday Cheer Our team members kicked off their holiday celebration by putting gifts under the tree for local children in need. We donated more than 400 gifts in support of the Celebration of Giving Campaign for Children s Fund.
