Plattsburgh Margaret Street branch is collecting nonperishable food items for the Plattsburg Food Interfaith Shelf. Donations of paper goods, personal hygiene products and cleaning supplies will also be accepted. Whitehall branch is adopting a family as part of Operation Santa Claus and donating to Whitehall Food Pantry. Indian Lake branch is hosting a fundraiser to benefit its local food pantry Community Action Group. Malone Elm Street branch is a drop-off location for Holiday Helpers, which helps provide local families in need with a fuller holiday. Lake Placid branch is collecting toys, hats and mittens for those in need in North Elba. Fort Covington branch is hosting a toy drive to benefit Covington Helping Hands.

Newark Plaza branch is hosting a shoe drive fundraiser collecting gently used shoes to send to families in need outside of the United States. Penn Yan Plaza branch has a toy collection box for Yates Christmas Program. Phelps branch is a donation drop-off location for Toys for Tots and is collecting food and toys for Phelps Lions Club. Geneva Seneca Street branch is collecting new hats and gloves to donate to the Salvation Army for local children in need.

More than 20 branches are getting in the festive spirit by sponsoring or independently organizing charity drives for local community members and families. branches are getting creative this season. Brattleboro branch is collecting nonperishable food items for Feed the Need. Barre and Northfield branches are drop-off locations for Toys for Tots and participating in Light a Light for a Child to help prevent child abuse. Burlington College Street branch is a drop-off location for Toys for Tots and is collecting items for Committee on Temporary Shelter. Enosburg branch is drop-off location for Toys for Tots and hosting a food drive to benefit Enosburg Food Shelf. Fair Haven branch is hosting a food drive and collecting hats, mittens and toys to benefit the local community center and Toys for Kids. The team will also be selling bears to benefit the American Red Cross. Hardwick branch has a giving tree in its lobby to collect toys and items for children at Hardwick Elementary School. In addition, the team is participating in Hardwick Community Children s Christmas Project. Hinesburg branch is a drop-off location for Toys for Tots. Jericho branch is a drop-off location for Toys for Tots. Johnson branch is participating in a Meals on Wheels fundraiser and collecting nonperishable food items for Johnson Food Shelf.
5 Rutland-area branches are drop-off locations for Toys for Tots. The Rutland Woodstock Avenue branch will also be selling bears to benefit the American Red Cross. South Burlington o Williston Road branch is a drop-off location for Toys for Tots and is collecting various items including hats, socks, infant formula and cough drops for Committee on Temporary Shelter. o Kennedy Drive branch is a drop-off location for Toys for Tots and is o collecting items for Committee on Temporary Shelter. Shelburne Road branch is collecting items for Committee on Temporary Shelter and selling bears to benefit the American Red Cross. South Hero branch has a holiday giving tree in its lobby to collect toys and items for local children in need. Springfield branch will have a giving tree in its lobby to provide those in need with a more plentiful and pleasant holiday. St. Albans branch is a drop-off location for Toys for Tots. In addition, the team has a giving tree in its lobby to support families of the Samaritan House in St. Albans. Vergennes and Bristol branches are participating in the Department for Children and Families HOPE Gingerbread People to provide gifts for children in need. Waterbury branch has a holiday giving tree in its lobby to collect toys and items for local children in need. Wilmington branch is a drop-off location for Toys for Tots.
