No ooms w found to b attachd to th wall, but it is suspctd that on o mo sufac ooms o pithouss may hav bn locatd within th nclosu. Howv, solution of that issu will hav to await futu xcavation. An impotant goal of this wok was to dat th compound. Whil digging, th latst paintd potty obsvd was Lat Rincon Rd-on-bown (A.D ), so it smd that th compound might b slightly ali than oth known compounds. Th potty analysis aft all shds w washd has cast doubt on this howv. Evn though only nin shds of th Classic piod typ Tanqu Vd Rd-onbown hav bn found duing all of th wok at Hony B, that is nough to indicat that a Classic piod dat fo th compound is a possibility. Twnty-on of thos paps hav cntly bn publishd in a book titld Rcnt Rsach on Tucson Basin Phistoy: Pocdings of th Scond Tucson Basin Confnc by th Institut fo Amican Rsach. Th book was ditd by William Doll of th Institut and Paul Fish of th Aizona Stat Musum. Th focus of th book is on Hohokam achaology, but th a two paps about th Lat Achaic pdcssos of th Hohokam. Ths paps stablish that con was an impotant cop fo Tucson Basin sidnts by soon aft 1000 B.C. Th bginnings of potty making did not occu until aound A.D. 200, o vn slightly lat, basd on cunt vidnc. It is th manufactu of potty that allows achaologists to idntify th Hohokam as a distinctiv phistoic cultu. Th Hohokam a th topic of 19 paps in this book.
