My Ph.D. thesis fcused n psychsexual adjustment in wmen treated fr gynaeclgical cancer and I cntinue wrking n a number f prjects in this area. My pst-dctral wrk has fcused n the area f dctr-patient cmmunicatin, particularly the effectiveness f strategies t imprve the prcess f infrmed cnsent t cancer clinical trials. In 2008, I was awarded the Cancer Institute NSW Early Career Develpment Fellwship,

2 t develp a research prgram fcusing n imprving the quality f infrmed cnsent f wmen cnsidering treatment ptins fr varian cancer, via the use f decisin aids. I'm als a lecturer in Health Psychlgy at the Schl f Psychlgy, University f Sydney and supervise Hnurs, Masters and PhD students, which I find a rewarding and enjyable experience.
