2 As it is too crowded and becomes dangerous for students to be throwing balls in the courtyard (where the students enter and exit from the buses), students will need to use part of the field for these types of activities. Attached you will see photos of the areas of the field that are open for students to use for throwing balls, etc Students are still not allowed on the bleachers/benches (due to damage), nor are they allowed on the large football field or over by the tennis courts area/back gate. Students may use the small soccer field that is closest to the C Block and also the small football field that is closest to C block provided they stay out of the bush area and do not go past the red score board sign on the small football field (see attached pics). Hopefully this helps to give students some space for activities at lunch hour while still allowing supervisors to see them easily. Students, if a supervisor asks you to move to a different area, I expect you to do so. If you do not think you should have had to move, you can speak with me about it afterwards and we can clarify questions about boundaries, but you do as you are told at the time. See Ms. Brownlee in order to get a copy of your transcripts. 2. Quebec Loans and Bursaries online applications for are now available on their website: Please note you will need your Permanent Code and SIN to start this application. 3. If you are pursuing a Nursing or Health-related career (not for General Health) at College or University next year, there is a $10,000 Scholarship available by contacting Connexions Deadline is June 14 th. See the flyer attached to the Bulletin. This Friday is the film night. Come watch a collection of inspiring short films! Tickets are on sale at lunch today outside of the cafeteria for $10. Tickets are also available at the office throughout the week. There will be a draw at the event for some amazing prizes. 6 Congratulations to our own Cyerra King who received Honourable Mention at the MASC Awards in Ottawa on Thursday, May 17! The Annual MASC Arts Awards celebrates students in grade 6, 7 and 8 who demonstrate a passion for the arts. Way to go, Cyerra! There is a Film Club meeting in room 125 today.
