4 Member Spotlight : Andrea Frazer Many of us have personal experiences that drive our passions and career pursuits. Andrea s passion for the Pharmaceu cal Industry is began with her own struggles with Juvenile Rheumatoid Arthri s as a child. This lead her to pursue a degree in Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering from Ohio State University. (That s right, she s a Buckeye!) A er gradua on, she started work in the personal health, and household products industry in Research and Development for Baby care and Pet care. She holds a couple patents for Diaper design. But her desire to get closer to the Pharmaceu cal industry has led Andrea to her current posi on where she serves as Process Engineer for Process Plus. Here Andrea has worked on many Oral Solid Dosage processing projects and is growing into the SME role. Andrea Frazer Process Engineer Andrea joined ISPE three years ago to enhance her knowledge of the Pharmaceu cal industry and to make her more successful in her career. She enjoys reading the monthly publica ons and taking in the Webinars offered through ISPE. Being an SME in the Pharmaceu cal industry is a Differen ator and Andrea is well on her way. A na ve of Cincinna, Andrea has not strayed far from home. She and her husband Dan, also an engineer, keep busy with their 16-month old son and spending me with a large extended family. When they do get away, they love hiking and skiing. Thank you Andrea for your con nued service as Secretary of the Board of directors for the Great lakes chapter of the ISPE.
