Parramatta Mission seeks to serve the social heart through the provision of over 70 services to meet the desperate needs within our community. Many of these essential services are otherwise unfunded. Such as our Meals Plus service, where we provide approximately 500 meals a week to people facing homelessness, crisis and emergency situations, and people who are sleeping rough. This service is an essential entry point where people can access a range of other services that will meet their specific needs, such as counselling, financial advice and emergency assistance. Indeed, many of the people we walk alongside with every day struggle with issues such as domestic violence, mental illness, as well as homelessness. We work to provide holistic care that will truly transform lives. As influencers in the area, we all have the responsibility to serve those in most desperate need.
