Learn how to find web sites, how to navigate around the World Wide Web and get your feet wet in the on-line world! 10/7-10/9, during business hours, Wednesday-Friday Friends Sponsored Book Sale Stock up for those long winter nights with great titles at great prices. We can accept media donations for the sale on October 5th and 6th only. 10/7, 7:00pm, Wednesday Anime/ Manga Club- Exchange info and discuss your favorite Manga and Anime series. Bring your own Manga style drawings to give and get tips from others that appreciate Japanese animation. No registration required. This program will be held in the meeting room. For TEENS in Grades /8, 10/15 2:30-4:00pm, Thursdays Homework Help Come do your homework at the library and get help from Sam the teen librarian! Every Thursday while school is in session, Sam will be stationed in the teen zone waiting to help you however she can. There's no reason to register- just walk right in! Providing services to the community including county IDs, passports, senior services, veterans services, consumer affairs, voter registration and parks and tourism information. This program will feature lighthouse stories, facts and trivia, along with a short video presentation. For grades K and up. 10/19, 2:00pm, Monday Valkyrie (2008) PG13 Toward the end of World War II, a group of German Officers, including Claus von Stauffenberg, plotted a coup to assassinate Adolph Hitler and seize power of the military command in order to end the war. Sale is November 13 and 14 in meeting room 10/20, 2:00pm, Tuesday Book Discussion The Drowning Tree by Carol Goodman Juno McKay returns to her alma mater, Penrose College, located in the Hudson River Valley to hear her friend s lecture. The subject is the beautiful stained glass window designed by the college s founder; the lecturer s research had uncovered surprising information leading to an artistic thriller. 10/20, 7:00pm, Tuesday True Colors Personality Test

Beginning or struggling readers take turns reading to a registered therapy dog. Bring your favorite book or choose one of ours. (Limited to first six registrants) A Business Hours English Conversations Led by trained volunteers, new speakers of English get the chance to practice and develop self-confidence in a welcoming, informal environment.
