2 It s close to twilight and something evil is lurking behind. You feel a cold hand, it s the wait staff with butler style hors d oeuvres and champagne. You hear a door slam and a creature is walking up behind, do not fret it s the three-course dinner, custom prepared for Haunted GLITTER by Chef Robin. The evening will include live entertainment, silent auction, 50/50 tickets, and the presentation of the RBC OUTShine Awards to members of Saskatoon s LGBTQ2S community. Dress code is Ghosts and Ghouls with prizes for best costumes. The midnight hour is close at hand so get ready for this dance with the dead! We are also dedicated to building community relationships so that Saskatoon is a safe and welcoming place for all. OUTSaskatoon s key programs and services: Support Services Drop-In Centre offers a safe place for in-person peer support, finding resources, and to relax and socialize phone line offers a safe place for LGBTQ2S people across the province Free counselling, as well as peer-counselling from trained staff and volunteers. Social Support Groups where people can find support from people who share their experiences and make new friends. Queer Sexual Health Clinic is a welcoming place for people to get tested for STBBIs and to take care of their physical well-being (Thursdays from 5-8) Education Diversity training and resources for elementary, high school, and post-secondary classrooms. Professional development for businesses, community groups and organizations. Information and resources on supporting youth in schools, gender identity and expression, sexuality, sexual health, mental health, coming out, relationships, heteronormativity, and safe spaces. Housing Pride Home provides a safe and supportive ong-term home for five LGBTQ2S youth ages and is sustained by staff and wrap-around supports from OUTSaskatoon. Connecting to Community Referrals to safe and LGBTQ2S-friendly businesses and professionals. Community-building events to raise awareness and to bring people together. Events include AIDS Walk, an Annual Two Spirit Round Dance, Out on the Land Culture Camp, the Gay Straight Alliance Summit, Welcome to the Gaybourhood, Queer Prom, High T, Aging with Pride, and many more.
