Meeting Minutes: Guest Speakers: Mathew Lawyer VP of Service for IFC o Annual Canned Food Drive opening up this service event to all councils o Competition based on which org can donate the most canned foods for the Hays County Food Bank o If you win, you will get a donation from IFC towards your org s philanthropy! o November 15 th is the first round of donations thru 29 th o Bring them to my house if you can will send out my address ASAP. o IFC raised 5,000 lbs. of cans we can raise more TOGETHER o If you have any questions, contact me! msl62@txstate.edu V. 5 X. Chapter Reports: (a) Delta Xi Nu: T-Shirt fundraiser is almost ready, will send out an update when they re ready to be purchased. Teaming up with Men Against Violence this Thursday in the Quad. (b) Kappa Delta Chi: KAD Carnival o Local Philanthropy for kids who do not get to experience Halloween to its fullest o TOMORROW! Tuesday 10/23 o 5:30 7:30 o Sturgon Drive San Marcos, TX Omicron will be hosting regionals (c) Phi Iota Alpha: We would like to be recognized for the participation and total member attendance to the Loteria Night that was hosted by Lambda Xi Delta and the money donated to our philanthropy Our local philanthropy is hosting the biggest event which is the Story Book Parade this Friday from 8am 2pm, so come show support and to have a great time with the kids of the Boys & Girls Club. If anyone knows a female organization, there is a program at the B&G club that needs an organization to take charge of it which is Smart Girls. Fundraisers are soon to come, be on the lookout for our announcements & flyers. (d) Sigma Lambda Beta: No report (e) Sigma Lambda Gamma: Breast Cancer Awareness week was rained out Shout Out of PhiA for buying all our cake pops! Plate sale moved this Wednesday, taking orders until Tuesday noon Selling meatball subs in quad on the 25th (8am - 2pm)
