8 Young women affected by cancer may have been in the midst of university studies, advancing in their career, planning for marriage, planning for a baby, or raising children. Young Women Crush Cancer Inc. (YWCC) is a nonprofit organization operating out of Cobb County, Georgia. We service young women between the ages of 18 and 49 who have been diagnosed with cancer by providing them with support groups, motivational events, and contributions so that they are encouraged to keep dreaming and accomplishing the things that they initially set out to in life. As an organization founded by a Cancer Researcher, we know that a diagnosis during these ages can cause a set of disruptions in life and lead to many psychosocial issues. We are here to encourage, motivate, and support these women.
