6 Carer Information Day Building your own Care Team With all the changes to Disability and Aged Care there are opportunities for carers to select their own care staff. Building your own care team is not for everyone, but it is certainly worth knowing how it might work. One service you can use to build your own care team is Better Caring. This online service allows you to engage individual contractors. Better Caring Community Engagement Manager, Jodie Schleusener, will join us to talk about how to use their service. 7 YOUR VERY OWN STARGAZING EXPERIENCE An invitation has been extended by the Southern Astronomical Society for carers to attend a Guided Sky Tour Astronomical Observation Night Saturday 18 th August pm to 9pm at Pimpama Members of the Southern Astronomical Society will provide telescopes and a detailed description of the major planets, celestial objects and more. This is a great night out, not to be missed! Detailed instructions on how to get to the exact location will be provided to those attending. Please lower your car lights as you enter.
