5 8 C E U S M A R C H 3-4, Friday, March 3rd, :00 PM - 6:45 PM Shifting Mindset and Practice to Value-Driven Care Speakers: Christopher Noren, Joshua Johnson, Doug Benson Acute care is quickly becoming a more exciting area of physical therapy practice than ever before! With advances in technology and equipment, along with the now well-established foundation of the many benefits of early mobility, the time is ripe to progress forward by further defining our role and value in optimizing patient health outcomes. Speakers will discuss how shifting both mindset and practice toward patient-centered outcomes are essential steps in beginning to deliver care that is more valuable to the patient and to the health system. 6:45 PM - 7:15 PM Dinner & Break 7:15 PM - 9:00 PM The Patient Experience: Interview of Past Patients and Family Members Emcees: Doug Benson, Drew Wilcox An acute care stay is often unnerving and even psychologically traumatic for many patients. Additionally they will provide positive and negative feedback for our benefit as practitioners.
