Description This imaging conference for primary care physicians will provide you with current information on the most challenging imaging decisions you face. It will include information on the latest imaging techniques, interventional procedures and vascular surgery techniques. Focusing on problem-oriented diagnostic situations you see daily, you will gain knowledge of your imaging options and guidance in choosing the appropriate diagnostic imaging exams needed to evaluate your patients. Information on the current status of newer imaging techniques such as CT lung screening will be included. Opportunities to have your questions discussed and answered will be provided throughout the day. Objectives Upon completion of this activity, the participant should be able to: Describe the most appropriate and current problem-oriented diagnostic imaging exams needed to evaluate patients Discuss the therapeutic potential of minimally invasive interventional vascular and endovascular radiologic procedures as well as interventional oncology Describe the resources or tools he/she will use to ensure the most current and appropriate imaging exams are ordered

From I-40 Westbound, take Exit 50B and merge onto Hendersonville Road. At the first light, turn left into the Double Tree Hotel complex. Turn left towards the Sleep Inn. Just before the Sleep Inn turn right and go up the hill to the MAHEC Biltmore Campus. From (I-26) take 240 East to Exit 5B (Charlotte Street). Exit right onto Charlotte Street. At the 4th light, make a left onto Biltmore Avenue. Proceed through 8 traffic lights. At the 9th light turn right into the Double Tree Hotel complex. Turn left towards the Sleep Inn. Just before the Sleep Inn turn right and go up the hill to the MAHEC Biltmore Campus.
6 Registration Early Registration Deadline: October 26, 2013 Early registration fee is $90.00 for physicians/ $60.00 for PAs, NPs and includes administrative costs, educational materials, lunch, and refreshments. If registration is received after October 26, 2013 the registration fee will be $ for physicians / $75.00 for PAs, NPs. Cancellations received at least two weeks in advance of the program date will receive a full refund unless otherwise noted. Cancellations received between two weeks and up to 48 hours prior to the program date will receive a 70% refund or full credit toward a future MAHEC program unless otherwise noted. No refunds will be given for cancellations received less than 48 hours prior to the program date. Substitutes are welcome but please notify us in advance of the program. All cancellations must be made in writing (fax, mail, or ). Beginning January 1, 2013, full payment must accompany all registrations unless a payment plan has been approved in advance.
