5 LEARNING OBJECTIVES Upon completion of this course, you will be able to Thoroughly comprehend the various management options for eosinophilic esophagitis, functional bowel disorders, pouchitis and refractory nausea and vomiting. Identify areas of controversy in the management of Barrett s esophagus, colorectal cancer screening, hepatitis C and ulcerative colitis. Implement new advances in evaluating and treating esophageal motility disorders, inherited colorectal cancer syndromes and hepatocellular carcinoma. Distinguish between the various approaches for diagnosing IBD-associated colorectal cancer, esophageal neoplasia and non-alcoholic fatty liver disease. Increase your knowledge of the newest modalities in non-invasive imaging of the colon, esophagus and liver. Develop treatment strategies using alternative approaches to the management of functional dyspepsia, pancreatic cysts and autoimmune hepatitis. Incorporate new endoscopic therapies for managing Barrett s esophagus, colorectal neoplasia and chronic pancreatitis.
