Open Forum Discussion of Any Maintenance Problems Being Found and Obtain Input on Maintenance and Stormwater Issues - Steve Tyler/Everyone Objective: Use opportunity to discuss with other maintenance staff any maintenance or stormwater issues being encountered. 4. Selection of New Chair Kristin Kerr /Everyone Objective: Need to identify a new chair for Vendor Presentation Filtrexx /Kristin Kerr Objective: Here about vendor products for use as stormwater BMPs during municipal maintenance activities or at municipal facilities. 6. 2 DRAFT SUMMARY Municipal Maintenance Subcommittee Meeting Holbrook-Palmer Park Atherton Meeting Date: September 28, 2016 Subcommittee Actions: 1. Agreed that the summary of the June 2016 subcommittee meeting was acceptable. Requested Technical Advisory Committee Action or Feedback/Guidance (if any): None Other Information/Announcements: Trash Full Capture Device Tracking Table. Kristin asked the Subcommittee if anyone was interested in SMCWPPP developing an Excel tracking table for the MRP C.10.b.i trash full capture device maintenance and inspection data based on the SMCWPPP field form template. There was interest so SMCWPPP will develop a template Excel data tracking table. Kristin reviewed the Draft Annual Report responses to providing a summary of maintenance issues and corrective actions for full trash capture systems. Tidal Gates. The Subcommittee discussed the pros and cons of different types of tidal gates and the maintenance issues. Tidal gates should be periodically maintained including removal of any debris caught in the mechanism, exercising the gate and checking components. Two catalogs for tidal gates were passed around at the meeting. A paper Tide Gates: Technical and Ecological Considerations (March 4, 2016) by the Caltrans Division of Research, Innovation and System Information is available on the Caltrans website minary_investigation.pdf. Open Forum Discussion on Maintenance Issues. o The group discussed having a joint meeting with the Parks Maintenance and IPM Subcommittee. o Kristin will look into having vendors come to the meeting. Products include vactor truck equipment, stormwater BMPs, tidal gates, and street sweeper equipment. o A new chair is needed for the quarterly 2017 meetings. If your city is interested please contact Kristin. o The 4 th Wednesday in December is the week between the Christmas holiday and New Years Eve and the 4 th Wednesday in November is the day before Thanksgiving. Therefore, the next meeting will be the 5 th Wednesday of November, November 30 th, in Atherton.
