Applications are confidential and available at the Front Desk. GUEST/DAY PASS POLICY Guest Pass: Adult members can bring one adult guest per visit. When accompanied by a Member, Guests are entitled to three visits per year before paying the $10 day pass rate. Day Pass: Adults 18 & older can purchase a day pass for $10, which allows access to the Wellness Center, Open Gym, and group exercise classes. Programs are excluded. Youth day passes are also available for $3 per day, which provide access to the Teen Center (ages 8-17) & Open Gym. All guests must submit a completed/signed Guest Waiver Form prior to using the facility and have proper ID. Drop In Class: Anyone can enjoy our group exercise classes. 3 FOR YOUTH DEVELOPMENT Nurturing the potential of every child and teen LEARN, PLAY, & MOVE Gymnastics Instructional gymnastics program taught year-round. Classes start the first Monday of each month. Registration is required one week prior to the first class. Participants must be at least 3½ years old and potty-trained. Member Fee Non-Member Fee Trial Class $30/month $45/month $10/class Intro to Gymnastics Develops coordination and fitness through basic gymnastics skills, emphasizing confidence, and following directions. Mondays 5:00 to 5:45 pm OR Thursdays 5:00 to 5:45 pm Beginner Gymnastics Builds and improves upon basic skills previously learned. Mondays 6:00 to 7:00 pm Intermediate Gymnastics Improves skills on beam, floor, bars, and vault using drills and conditioning to build strength. Mondays 7:00 to 8:00 pm DID YOU KNOW? Trial classes are available for $10 each, which can be applied to the same program that month. SkY GYMNASTICS We offer a competitive USA Gymnastics team!! Open Gym Tumble Supervised program for Y gymnasts. Participants should have tumbling experience. Registration is required. 4 FOR YOUTH DEVELOPMENT Nurturing the potential of every child and teen LEARN, PLAY, & MOVE CHILD WATCH (Ages 1-7) Spend some personal quality time in the Wellness Center or taking a class knowing your child is nearby in a safe, secure, fun environment. Child Watch hours are coordinated with many group exercise classes to make the Y experience as convenient as possible. Parents must remain on-site. Registration is required 24 hours in advance. Free for Family memberships. Monday 9:00 to 10:30 am 4:30 to 7:30 pm Tuesday 9:00 to 10:30 am 4:30 to 7:30 pm Wednesday 9:00 to 10:30 am 4:30 to 7:30 pm Thursday 9:00 to 10:30 am 4:30 to 7:30 pm Friday 9:00 to 11:45 am 90 minute limit YOUTH EXPERIENCE (Ages 8-17) Video games, lounge, fitness arcade, ping pong, and more. Supervised. Available for private rentals. Monday - Thursday Friday Member Fee Non-Member Fee 3:30 to 8:30 pm 4:30 to 7:30 pm Free $3/day BIRTHDAY PARTY PACKAGES Birthday Party Packages (except for Standard party) include pizza, juice, cups, and plates for 20 youth. Additional supplies must be provided by guests. Parties must be booked at least two weeks in advance. Deposit is required to reserve your spot. Final payment and totals are due one week prior to party. Party Hours: Saturdays (12:00 to 2:00 pm) or Sundays (11:00 am to 1:00 pm). Guests are allotted 30 minutes for set-up prior to the party and 30 minutes for clean-up after the party. 5 FOR YOUTH DEVELOPMENT Nurturing the potential of every child and teen LEARN, PLAY, & MOVE Instructional Youth Soccer Participants will learn rules and March Madness 3 Point Shootout Wednesday, 3/7 Ages :00 pm Ages 16+ 7:30 pm Partners are required for this 3-round contest. Participants take shots around the 3-point line while their partner rebounds. Prizes for winning teams. One warm up round per team & then single elimination. 1 minute time limit per round. $10/team 3 on 3 March Madness Basketball Tournament 5:30 to 8:30 pm Ages Wednesday 3/21 Ages 16 + Wednesday 3/14 & Friday 3/16 fundamentals of soccer, like dribbling, passing, shooting, and scoring. Parent participation is required for Rookies group. Rookies: Ages 3-4 5:15 to 6:00 pm Tuesdays 1/9 to 2/13 Winners: Ages 5-8 6:15 to 7:15 pm Tuesdays 1/9 to 2/13 Member Fee: $30 Non-Member Fee: $45 Sports Variety Participate in a different sport each week throughout this 4 -week program learning the basics, playing games and socializing with others. Parent participation is required for Rookies group. Rookies: Winners: Ages 3-4 5:15 to 6:00 pm Wednesdays 4/4 to 4/25 Ages 5-8 6:15 to 7:15 pm Wednesdays 4/4 to 4/25 Member Fee: $20 Non-Member Fee: $35 PROGRAM REGISTRATION ALL CLASS PARTICIPANTS MUST REGISTER ONE WEEK PRIOR TO START OF CLASS. Same-day registration may be available for an additional charge. Payment in full must accompany registration. Program registration can be done at the front desk or by telephone. Waiting lists are available for programs filled to capacity. Waiting lists are based on a first come, first served basis. Program fees are non-transferable and non-refundable unless a medical excuse is provided by a licensed physician. ALL PROGRAMS MUST HAVE A MINIMUM OF 8 PARTICIPANTS REGISTERED IN ORDER FOR THE PROGRAMTO RUN. Youth Basketball League 7 weeks of games; last week are playoffs. Minimum 5 players, Maximum of 10 Deadline February 9th. Ages 9-11 Tuesdays 3/6 to 4/24 5:30 to 8:30 pm $200/Team

Must be very comfortable in water, can float and swim without much assistance. Swimmer must able to go under water without being afraid. WHEN: Fridays 1/26 to 3/2 TIME: 5:30 to 6:15 pm COST: $60 members $85 Non-Members LOCATION: Schuylkill Intermediate Unit 17 Maple Ave Pottsville, PA Goldfish Swim Lessons At the Y, our swim lessons build skills, confidence and determination. Our instructor teaches people of all ages and abilities how to be safe in the water. Our certified staff provides boys and girls ages 5* to 12 with games, crafts, field trips, swimming, character-building activities & more! Choose all 11 weeks or individual weeks. Camp runs daily from 7:00am to 5:30pm. Register early and receive our (Super) Early Bird discount. A non-refundable deposit of $10 per week is required with registration and financial aid is available for those who qualify. 8 FOR HEALTHY LIVING Improving the nation s health and well-being HEALTH, WELLNESS, & EXERCISE Kickin Combo Kickboxing and resistance training come together for a knockout workout. Mondays 5:15 to 6:15 pm Half & Half Thirty minutes of cardio followed by 30 minutes of resistance training. Tuesdays 6:30 to 7:30 pm Low Impact Low Impact does not have to mean low intensity! This fat-burning class keeps one foot on the ground at all times. Thursdays 5:30 to 6:30 pm Total Body Workout All major muscle groups, including the heart, are worked in this total body class. Mondays/Wednesdays 6:30 to 7:30 pm Power Circuit Utilizing primarily our Wellness Center strength machines, you ll get a great resistance training workout to tone and condition all major muscle groups. Thursdays 6:30 to 7:30 pm Cardio Jam A high energy cardio and step combo class that will keep you moving with pumping beats from the 80 s, 90 s, and today. Rookie or pro, this class is for you! Tuesdays 5:30 to 6:30 pm Gentle Yoga This class encompasses gentle stretching and strengthening that is done in a relaxed and mindful manner. Wednesdays 10:30 to 11:30 am Step To The Beat Step to the beat is a mix of step aerobics and various styles of dance. In this class you'll get your hustle, shuffle, and groove on while using a standard step bench. Make sure to bring your dancing shoes! (Level: All Levels). Fridays 10:00 to 11:00 am GROUP CLASSES Mindful Meditation Start your weekend off peacefully. Mindful meditation is the practice of being present in the moment and finding fulfillment in everyday life. Take a deep breath and find your calm. Fridays 9:45 to 10:45 am Group Cycling High energy, indoor cycling class, set to music, using a stationary bike. Riders of all abilities. Tuesday/Thursdays Wednesdays 9:00 to 10:00 am 5:15 to 6:15 pm SilverSneakers Hand-held weights, elastic tubing with handles, and a small inflated ball accompany exercises designed to increase muscular strength, range of movement, and activities of daily living. A chair is used for seated or standing support. Tuesdays/Thursdays 10:15 to 11:15 am Silver Sneakers Circuit Just starting on your fitness journey? Need a step up from SilverSneakers? This is a dynamic, functional, and always low impact class. Using a combination of light weights, bodyweight work, balance and light cardio. Wednesdays 9:30 to 10:30 am Intro To Weightlifting Have you ever wanted to try resistance training but never knew where to start? This is your basic introductory class in which you will be taught basic terminology, principles, and beginning weightlifting techniques Sundays 1:00 to 2:00 pm Y Wellness One hour per week of guidance, support, education and motivation to promote a healthier lifestyle. Mondays 9:15to 10:15am Happy Hour Start your weekend with a high-energy aerobic and strength workout. Fridays 5:15 to 6:15 pm

This year at Schuylkill YMCA we will be starting the new year with some healthy habits. The 30 for 30 challenge is a month long journey to increasing physical activity. Members are challenged to work out in the fitness center for a minimum of 30 minutes multiple times a week. The member with the most workouts within the 30 days, will receive a prize! Bonus points can be earned by bringing a non member! Runs January 2nd 31st Cost: $5 Cardio 1000 Let s Celebrate American Heart Month in February and March by challenging ourselves to a cardiovascular workout challenge! The Cardio 1000 will challenge members to complete 1,000 minutes of cardio within 6 weeks. The Flexstrider, Arc Trainers, Rower, Total Body Ergometer, Treadmills, Elliptical, Stationary Bicycles, and aerobic group exercise classes can all be used to accumulate your minutes! WINTER FIT TIPS! Winter is that time of year where we eat traditionally heavier foods and sleep a lot earlier! If you find yourself lacking motivation to make fitness a part of your life. Try these Winter Fit Tips this season! Wear Layers when working out outdoors. During the winter your body loses heat much quicker. By wearing more layers, your body can retain heat and you can perform better. If you want to eat something filling and heavy, try soup. Soup is a great comfort food that can be both fulfilling and warm. Set your workout gear out the night before. One of the biggest reason we don t go to the gym is because we are tired. If you set your gear out in plain sight, you are more likely to throw it on and get moving! Make if a family affair! Have your spouse, friend, or family join you on your fitness journey. Nothing feels better than having support! Hydrate! The winter is also a time where we don t get enough hydration. Make sure to drink a minimum of 8 (8 oz) glasses of water a day! Sessions are by appointment. Members Only $30/hour Heart Healthy Personal Training Have a personal training session with your favorite workout buddy. You and a friend will receive an hour training session for the price of an individual session. You can split the cost or invite them along as a gift.
