2 ULTIMATE FITNESS CHALLENGE Welcome to the Ultimate Fitness Challenge - the new active and healthy way to help your organization fundraise! With the Ultimate Fitness Challenge, kids of all ages get the opportunity to raise money for their organizations the active and healthy way by participating in a time-based obstacle course that includes sprinting, jump roping, wall crawls, hurdles, jumping jacks, sit ups, tunnel crawls and to finish off the course - a grueling confidence climb and 60 meter dash to the finish! With no more hassles of door to door selling now it is easier than ever for sponsors, relatives and family friends to support your cause the active and healthy way by pledging towards the total number of points achieved on the day of your Ultimate Fitness Challenge. HOW IT WORKS Step 1: Pick A Date Request a day (Mon-Fri) for your school or non-profit organization. Three weeks advance notice from date of booking is required. Only authorized personnel within the organization should request an event. To be eligible, schools or non-profit organizations must have at least 500 participants and directly benefit children's causes. Step 2: Submit A Date Request Submit a Fitness Challenge fundraising request online to community@allstaractive.com to book your fundraising date. Only one fundraising event is available for booking per semester per organization. Step 3: Promote Your Event We supply great tools to make your event a success. When you reserve your event, you will receive an with access to online tools to promote your fundraiser. Here's what's included: --Custom Pledge Cards that you can reproduce and distribute to your organization. --Fitness Challenge graphic templates to create custom materials to promote your event. --Online invitations to the Ultimate Fitness Challenge powered by Evite. Step 4: Host Your Event On the booking day of your event our friendly event staff will arrive at your location to set up your Fitness Challenge event. 2 hour setup/breakdown standard time is required. Step 5: Enjoy Your Event Enjoy your event knowing that we do all the work in setting up the fundraiser and will supply all of the marketing materials and prizes to make your fundraiser a complete success.
3 TIMELINE 3 Weeks Prior To Event Day Students take home an introduction letter addressed from your school introducing the upcoming Ultimate Fitness Challenge fundraising event to parents. The standard template letter (Word file) supplied by All-Star Active can be modified to custom your message. Pledge cards should be sent home with students 1 week following the introduction letter or on the same day. 2 Weeks Prior To Event Day Students take home pledge cards and have 2 weeks to collect pledges from family, friends, and supporters of your organization. Pledges can be written down on the back of the pledge card but must be submitted online at to qualify for prizes. Students that submit their pledges online still need to return pledge cards before pledge collection deadline. 1 Week Prior To Event Day Students take home the Event Day Reminder letter to alert parents of the pledge collection deadline date. Prior to the event date, the school will receive a detailed spread sheet of all the pledges generated by your organization online. Final event preparations will be made with our event team and your coordinating staff to ensure a smooth event on event day. Event Day On your event date our friendly event staff will arrive at your location at NLT 6:30am to set up your Fitness Challenge event. Our event team will start the event day with a quick meeting with your volunteer group and afterwards lead your Fitness Challenge event. Following the event, our staff will promptly breakdown and strike the event. 1.5 hour setup/breakdown time is required. 1 Week Following Event Day Once the event is completed, our event team will provide your organization with a collection letter and collection envelopes for collecting pledges. Collection envelopes will be sent home with each student detailing pledge totals to be collected. Students have 1 week to collect pledges and return envelopes on collection deadline date. All payments should be made payable to your school. 2 Weeks Following Event Day On collection date, PAID pledge totals should be recorded on collection envelopes by the school coordinator and forwarded to the All-Star Active staff for processing prizes. Prizes will be promptly released to the school upon receipt of 50% partner payment to settle out the event with All-Star for production.
4 COMMON QUESTIONS What is the Ultimate Fitness Challenge? The Ultimate Fitness Challenge is the new active and healthy way to raise money for your organization by participating in a time-based obstacle course designed to bring public awareness to the rising epidemic of childhood obesity. How is the course laid out? The Ultimate Fitness Challenge is a 10 station obstacle course that includes sprinting, jump roping, wall crawls, hurdles, jumping jacks, sit ups, tunnel crawls and to finish off the course - a grueling confidence climb and 60 meter dash to the finish! How long will our kids have to run? The Ultimate Fitness Challenge course is run relay style and will take approximately 3 minutes for each student to complete depending on their physical fitness. What if a child cannot make it that far? No worries. The race can be terminated at anytime but we encourage all participants to attempt to finish. We will have lots of great volunteers to help them on the way! What happens if a child cannot complete an obstacle? Each participant is given 3 times to complete an obstacle and then pushed on to the next obstacle. How is the course scored? The Fitness Challenge course has 10 stations where a runner can achieve 3 points per station and a maximum of 30 points on the course. How do you keep track of my score? Each participant will be issued a runner BIBB ID number that helps identify each participant for fundraising totals. Where do I record my pledges from sponsors? Pledges can be written down on the back of the pledge card or can be submitted online at What makes the Ultimate Fitness Challenge superior to other fundraisers? Do you provide tools to help us market our fundraiser? Yes, we supply great marketing tools to make your event a complete success. When you reserve your event, you will receive an with access to marketing tools to help your organization promote and market your fundraiser.
5 MORE QUESTIONS. What are the requirements to book the Ultimate Fitness Challenge fundraiser? Three weeks advance notice from date of booking is required. Only authorized personnel within the organization should request an event. To be eligible, schools or non-profit organizations must have at least 500 participants and directly benefit children's causes. Is there a fee to book the Ultimate Fitness Challenge fundraiser for my organization? There is no fee required to book the Ultimate Fitness Challenge. Organizations are booked on a first come first served basis. Booking dates fill up quickly per semester and require at least 500 participants to qualify. Is there a percentage of the fundraising that goes back to your organization? Yes, we partner 50/50 with our host school organizations and supply everything needed to make your fundraiser a success to include marketing pledge cards, performance prizes and the Ultimate Fitness Challenge event production. How do I book the Ultimate Fitness Challenge fundraiser for my organization? Submit a Fitenss Challenge fundraising request online to fundraising@allstaractive.com to book your fundraising date. Only one fundraising event is available for booking per semester per organization. Why choose the Ultimate Fitness Challenge for your next fundraiser? Our event team will plan your entire event, starting with a kickoff meeting with your volunteer groups to explain the event. Our event team will afterwards lead your Fitness Challenge event and provide computerized summary reports to your organization for collecting online pledges. What do the participants have to do? Participants obtain sponsors to pledge a dollar amount for each point achieved at the event. All students participate in the event and are NOT required to collect pledges in order to participate. How much money can be raised using the Ultimate Fitness Challenge? The more people you ask, the more sponsors that can help your cause the active and healthy way. Most organizations earn between $100 and $150 per participant. Does each participant receive a reward for the completion of the course? Yes, each participant receives a custom All-Star Active Spirit Band for the completion of the course. Are there rewards for collecting pledges? Yes, there are different levels of rewards for collected donations. Reward prizes will be issued at the completion of the Ultimate Fitness Challenge fundraiser following pledge collection week.
