Children s Volunteer Health Network was founded in 2005 in direct response to Walton & Okaloosa counties large population of families who are unable to access high-quality health services due to the unavailability or inadequacy of insurance. Our organization is funded by private donors, grants, charitable events and community partners like St. Joe Foundation. Our Impact Since inception in 2005, CVHN has helped more than 18,000 children providing them with free medical and dental care valuing at over 5.8 Millions dollars worth of free services. Our Programs The CVHN Healthcare Referral Program is a partnership with over 70 health providers in our area who will provide free medical services to CVHN kids. The Just for Grins Mobile Dental Clinic services elementary schools in Walton & Okaloosa counties providing free preventative dental care to students. Our freestanding CVHN Dental Clinic located in Santa Rosa Beach provides preventative and restorative dental care to children in Walton & Okaloosa counties that are enrolled in the free & reduced lunch program and are uninsured or underinsured.
