2 EVENT OVERVIEW presents Easterseals Small Miracles Luncheon is our biggest annual fundraiser bringing together over 250 of Miami-Dade and Broward counties most caring community leaders and corporate sponsors, and this year we are celebrating 75 years of supporting and strengthening families in our community. The event serves to raise awareness of Easterseals mission to change the way the world defines and views disability by making profound, positive differences in people s lives every day. This year, we are proud to be honoring Ernst & Young for their commitment and support of our mission with the Easterseals National Corporate Council Award. This is awarded to organizations that have contributed $50,000 to $99,999. Easterseals is grateful to Ernst & Young and its leadership for the critical support it has bestowed that directly benefits our programs. Working in partnership with the families of the children and adults in our care, we offer guidance, provide support and inspire action so that everyone can reach for and realize their potential. We do our work throughout 11 centers in Miami-Dade and Broward. Our programs include 6 Head Start centers for children ages 0-4; a Child Development Center for children 6 weeks 3 years; an Autism Academy for elementary, and middle school aged students as well as a High School Culinary Arts program for young adults ages We also provide in-home respite for caregivers and services to seniors suffering from Alzheimer s and dementia in 3 Adult Day Care Centers located in Miami, Hialeah and Pembroke Pines.
