2 Executive Reports Chair [ Jon G ] No Report Co Chair [Leslie H] Hello AREA committee please excuse me from this month's service meeting, I am supporting my son at his football game! This month I was given all of the treasury books, and miscellanous items. The executive committee will be conducting an audit on September 25th. We are still looking for a treasury to pass on the wonderful meaning the spirit of rotation. I was able to get online and pay the verizon phone bill in the amout of $ I have asked Rick to collect money and give receipts to all of you for your wonderful donations. Also, if there are motions that have passed, I will get with Rick and have those checks written and signed within a timely manner. If PR needs reimbursement for meeting lists and we do not have enough for reimbursement in the cash donations that come in, I will get those funds to you as soon as I can. I would also like to remind those of you who motion for funds, that a receipt for said motion, or funds should be collected and given to the treasurer. I do not have access to the online banking tool as of today. However, through a discussion with the previous treasurer, we will set that up soon. I was able to get the balance from Mikey. Balance: $ Phone Bill: $30.58 New Balance: $ Any other items that may need to be paid, I am unsure of as of today. However, my hopes are to know more by the next report. Thank you for allowing me to serve Leslie H. Secretary [ Christine] No Report

I will be putting a motion for some literature this evening. Here are the meetings we will be supporting this month: live and let live cedar city 8 pm Sept. 16, Hurricane meeting Sept. 25 at 8 pm and Circle of Hope October 8 pm. Thank you for allowing me to be of service. Jen PR [Jerry C ]. It s here!!!! The new Iphone 7!! Just kidding, the area did receive their new phone, it s not a Iphone but it s a phone that will hold a charge, give us 700 minutes a month, and has a keyboard to text with. The Phone line received 8 calls this month and three of the calls were people looking for Vegas meetings. All updates have been completed to the web site. SUACNA s filled and open postions are posted, ASC positions open and filled are posted, meeting list is updated, and new guidelines will be posted if approved. August meeting lists were distributed to the GSR s who attended the July ASC. GSR s from Richfield, Kanab and Mesquite were not present at the ASC. Meeting Lists were not mailed to these GSR s this month. Lists for all locations within the community were distributed within two weeks of ASC by Rosemary and Dave J.I have obtained three new bids for printing for the meeting lists. I am going to take the bids to Staples to see if they will match the lowest bid before changing. Jerry C. and Scott D. went to Hurricane and restocked and cleaned the IP
5 rack in the Museum basement. There was also a new location added for meeting lists at The Cedar Post Pawn Shop 72 W. State Hurricane 84737, and we put posters up at the laundromat. Meeting lists were distributed to all designated places in the St George area. For a number of years, we have been delivering meeting lists to the Wellness Center on campus. They have been displayed in the waiting room. Dean Beatty has now given us permission to have an IP rack placed in the waiting room as well. Meeting lists will also be placed in the back offices to hand out to students. A poster with our help-line number will also be displayed. The center will be moving shortly, so, we may need to wait until they get settled. The Dean also gave us the name and number of a contact person at the campus radio station so that we can discuss the possibility of airing our PSA. 270 IP s and 50 Introduction to Narcotics Anonymous were given to Cedar City for the racks there and 150 meeting lists were also given. Thomas met me half way between Cedar and St. George. I want to thank him for making the job a little bit easier. 550 IP s, 4 little white booklets, and 10 Introduction to Narcotics Anonymous books were taken out of inventory for St. George and Hurricane. We also updated the meeting lists at Steps Recovery Center and placed IP s in Purgatory. It was decided at our committee meeting to do a meeting list inventory. Meaning, we are in the process of making sure the meetings on the list are still in service. PR will be supporting Outreach or Outreach is supporting PR, however you want to look at it, in order to complete this project. Richfield and Kanab will be contacted soon to verify their current meetings and support them in any way we can. We will also be attending a meeting locally to offer our support and assistance if wanted. Our spot has been paid for The Recovery Days event held at Town Square Park from 4:00pm to 7:00pm, Thursday September 22. So I will need access to the storage unit in order to get the PR banner and canopy. P.R.
