1 Term 1 Number 6 9 th March 2016 Fundraising 2016 Thank you to everyone that attended last week s P & F meeting it was a fantastic turn out. Some wonderful fundraising ideas for 2016 were put forward and we have already had people offer their time. Below is the current list of suggestions: (Please note that we are not expecting all of these events/activities to go ahead.) Bingo Quiz night Car boot sale Fun run Wine raffle Read-a-thon Fashion swap night Children s art exhibition Sleepover nights We are now calling for volunteers, if you feel you can take on one of the above suggestions this year or have another suggestion that you would like to run please contact the P&F on parentsstlukes@outlook.com.

2 St. Luke s Family Camp The 2nd Annual St Luke s Woodvale Family Camp. November Willowbrook Farm, Gingin The camp will be formally advertised and bookings taken at the beginning of term 3. Please do not call the campground as reservations will be taken with a booking request form to be included in the P&F newsletter on Wednesday 20th July. There will be approximately 60 sites available. 7 ST LUKE S CATHOLIC PRIMARY SCHOOL FOOTY TIPPING Registrations for the 2016 Footy Tipping competition are now open! The footy tipping competition is online and is hosted by The competition is open to all St. Luke s families, relatives, friends and workmates. It is a great way to have fun and be in the running to win some great cash prizes along the way! A fantastic weekly cash prize and more are on offer throughout the home and away season. Why not join the fun for the small entry cost of $ All you need to do is complete the attached registration form and return it to the office (with entry fee). You can pay by EFT, cash or cheque. You can also nominate to receive your winnings by EFT. There is a weekly $50 prize for the top tipper for that round. The top three tippers for the season will receive prizes. These prize amounts are subject to how many registrations we receive and tippers will be advised of the prize amounts once the registrations close. When your registration document and fee has been received, you will be ed the competition details (login and password) so you can join up and start tipping! We need your registrations now so don t delay, let s get tipping! Registrations close Friday 18th March, to be ready for Round 1 beginning on Thursday 24th March.
