We have improved our overall score agaist our peers, although we score low for commuity egagemet. Iovative Eco Solutios Suir Egieerig s Kiera Butler recetly created, desiged ad istalled eco friedly iovative solutios at the remote Cordal Wid Farm Project i rural Irelad. Rai Water Harvestig Whe work started o the project it became apparet that there was o access to a water supply to feed the toilets ad catee o the remote site. Costructio Maager, Kiera Butler, did some iovative thikig ad created, desiged ad istalled a raiwater harvestig solutio to gather the water that rus off the roofs of the cabis, straight ito a 1,500 litre tak. The water is primarily used for fillig toilets ad housekeepig duties, however, with the aid of a filter system ad atibacterial soap it is also used for washig hads. A bottled water system was istalled for huma cosumptio. Power Savig Kiera s iovative thikig did t stop there. He also istalled a automatic stop/start geerator o site. It turs o at 6am i the morig ad powers dow at 8pm i the eveig, providig eergy savigs o lightig, heatig ad diesel costs. Result The site has bee audited regularly by the cliet ad they have bee very impressed with the set-up ad particularly the eco-friedly raiwater harvestig system. Egieerig Services North The team at Egieerig Services North have udertake may charity evets i support of the North West Air Ambulace these iclude: bake sales, world cup football competitios, Christmas raffles, dress dow days ad Tough Mudder challeges. Overall the team have raised early 5,000. Lightig up Capula was, oce agai, sposor of the local Stoe tow Bofire. The busiess doated 500 ad also orgaised posters to advertise the Bofire throughout the tow.
