2 EDWARD HOTEL & CONVENTION CENTER/SECOND FLOOR Spanish Speaking Stearns Knight Literature & Tokens Pierce Arrow ANONYMITY and the 2018 MARCH ROUNDUP While our members have differing views of how to adhere to the principles of anonymity laid out in Alcoholics Anonymous Eleventh and Twelfth Traditions, here are some suggestions for practicing these principles here at March Roundup 2018: PHOTOGRAPHY AND VIDEO Out of respect for others, please do not take photographs or videos during any of the meetings at the Convention. Please remember that the taking of photos or videos during A.A. meetings makes many members uncomfortable about the confidentiality of the gathering. Also, please be considerate when taking photos or videos around event venues. Take care that you do not capture images of A.A. members, family members and friends who did not give their permission and may not wish to appear in your pictures. THE INTERNET The long form of A.A. s 11th Tradition reads: Our names and pictures as A.A. members ought not to be broadcast, filmed or publicly printed. In keeping with the principle, please do not post recognizable photos or videos of identifiable A.A. members on Web sites accessible to the public, including unrestricted pages on social networking sites. Whatever the medium, no disclosure of a member s affiliation with A.A. can rightfully be made by anyone except the individual himself. TRADITION ELEVEN Our public relations policy is based on attraction rather than promotion; we need always maintain personal anonymity at the level of press, radio and films. TRADITION TWELVE Anonymity is the spiritual foundation of all our Traditions, ever reminding us to place principles before personalities. For more information regarding online anonymity - see the pamphlet Understanding Anonymity.
