2 Importance of programs Increase Membership & Retention in our Order To promote active involvement in our Parishes To Support our Communities To promote Healthy Catholic Family Life To set an Example for our fellow Catholic Brothers and Sisters. To set an example for our Children and the Youth of our Parishes and Communities.
3 Our Supreme Knights Message The Knights continue to support their local communities in 2014 through such programs as the Black Friday Coats for Kids event, Food for Families and blood drives. Knights also gave assistance to such organizations as Habitat for Humanity and the American Wheelchair Mission. Supreme Knight Anderson also asked state jurisdictions to step up their already strong support for Special Olympics athletes. The Knights must increase there charitable footprint in our Parishes and our Communities. The Knights must answer Pope Francis call to reach out to those in need

8 RSVP Program Plan we have Three Major Goals [1] Identify all Seminarians from parishes in California. Make a list and track them until they are ordained a priest. [2] Match them up with councils and get councils to support them with scholarships, prayers and cards. [3] Offer them membership in our order. [4] Have degree teams go out to the seminaries to do the degrees, so we don t have to wait for their time off to get them into our order.

10 I.D.Drive Our Tootsie Roll Drive
11 I.D.Drive Our Tootsie Roll Drive This is the biggest thing we do together each year. This year s goal will be to get the gross drive amount to $1,000, dollars Our second goal for this year is to get 100 more councils in the yearly drive, supporting people with Intellectual Disabilities in their local areas. Our third goal is to reeducate our councils on what the I.D. drive is all about, and why we have this corporation in our State Council.

13 Habitat for Humanity Program Plan Identify a build in Northern California Central California Southern California And get our councils involved in all three of these.
14 American Wheelchair Mission
15 American Wheelchair Mission Program Plan This years goal is to supply at least 1,800 Wheelchairs [6] Containers for needy Veterans in our state. Aggressively collect funds thru December 2015 Order our wheelchairs for needy Veterans. Switch gears after the mid term DD meeting and start collecting funds for the next years State drive. Plan our three distributions for Veterans Northern California Central California Southern California Our three Masters of the Fourth Degree will be our hosts at all these distributions some time in May or June Total dollar goal for Columbian Year is $1,000, in Donations for Wheelchairs.

18 Special Olympics Program plan School Partnership Program Knights can raise funds to support and expand the Special Olympics School Partnership in California. Support 100 new/continuing classrooms Support 100 new/continuing sports programs 100 Knights involved in local school programs Fundraising goal for us this year $350,000.00

21 Food for Families Program Plan Hold two State wide food drives this year One at Christmas time One at Easter time We will ask all our councils to have a food drive at their parish or at their meetings in November and in February. Collect can goods and certificates for hams or turkeys, and bring all of this to the November and February Chapter meetings. Your Chapter President along with all of you will contact your local Bishop to donate this to a food bank in your diocese or Catholic Charities in your area.

24 Coats for Kids Program Plan We will ask each council in the State to make a donation of two cases of coats. One for Boys and one for Girls. We will then ask each council to bring their donations to the November Chapter meeting in their area and the Chapter President will make arrangements with the local Bishop to donate all of these costs to needy kids thru Catholic Charities in their area.

27 Walk for Life Program plan Encourage Brother Knights and their Families and friends to come out to one of the three Walks for Life on January 23, Our Goal that day is to get 25,000 people from the Knights and their families and friends in California out to one of the three walks for life events that day.. We will have t-shirts which you can order, so we will all be wearing the same color shirt.

29 Ultrasound Machine Program Plan Our State goal for this year is to provide [Six] new ultrasound machines to local clinics in our state. We will reach this goal by inspiring our councils to do fundraisers for this great cause.

31 Your Responsibilities Pass this information on to your Councils. Urge your council leaders to promote our programs. Have your DD Workshop ASAP and ask your council to get involved with our Programs. Make sure your councils submit their reports for everything they do, so we can document our growth and our footprint.
32 Expectations for all 100% of councils participate in our I.D.Drive 100% of our councils support our Featured Programs. 100% of our councils report what they do. 100% of our councils include a membership person at every service program they put on this year.
