NCQA ANNIVERSARY GALA CELEBRATING 25 YEARS OF QUALITY September 16, :00 p.m. National Portrait Gallery and Smithsonian American Art Museum, Washington, DC Set against the picturesque backdrop of the Smithsonian American Art Museum and National Portrait Gallery s Kogod Courtyard, the NCQA Anniversary Gala brings together leaders in health care for a celebration of the progress we ve all made, as well as a look at the future. QUALITY TALKS INSPIRING THE FUTURE OF AMERICAN HEALTH CARE November 9, :30 a.m. Knight Conference Center at the Newseum, Washington, DC This morning event gathers dynamic and thought-provoking speakers to share their ideas on how we can collaboratively improve American health care. The event features a series of succinct, yet stirring, TED -style talks with current and emerging health care leaders, as well as interactive dialogue about improving patient care. FELLOWSHIP FOR HEALTH QUALITY INNOVATION The Phyllis Torda Memorial Fellowship for Health Quality Innovation, established as a capstone to NCQA s 25th anniversary celebration, funds research and activities that advance performance measurement and improvement, while cultivating health care quality leaders. The fellowship honors a longtime leader and innovator in quality improvement who died in early GOOGLE HANGOUT DISCUSSIONS Various Dates NCQA will host a series of Google Hangouts featuring current and future health care leaders. Hangouts will be one-hour web-based panels covering topics ranging from the history of health care quality, to innovation in health care, to the future of the American health care system. 02
