2 The Grand Experience On October 24th, 2015, Grand River Hospital Foundation will be hosting its 8 th annual signature event Grand Experience, Motown Magic. With a new theme every year, Grand Experience attracts close to 400 friends in the community who attend our elegant evening in support of raising funds for life-saving work being done at Grand River Hospital. 8th annual signature event Grand Experience, Motown Magic. The Cause This year, The Grand Experience will be raising funds to purchase four new Electrocardiogram machines (ECG) for Grand River Hospital. ECG s are a painless, noninvasive test to check for problems with the electrical activity in your heart. An ECG can show how fast your heart is beating, if your heart rhythm is steady or irregular, and if you re having (or have had) a heart attack. This information is important for the diagnosis and treatment of all patients, including adults and children.
