2 6.1 Engin / Nois Pollution All comptitors should not that nois tsting will b carrid out at this vnt. Engins must not b startd bfor 08:45hrs or aftr 18:00hrs on Sunday. 6.2 Paddock (a) Wast oil should b rmovd from th vnu or disposd of in th wast oil containrs, whr providd. (b) All domstic rubbish must b placd in th bins providd; any scrap vhicl parts (including tyrs) must b rmovd from th vnu. (c) Undr no circumstancs must any paddock surfac b brokn in any way, i.. tnt pgs/staks, tc. (d) Hospitality is not prmittd in th paddock/pit ara without th xprss prmission of th circuit ownrs. Th only xcption to this is hospitality for comptitors and official tam prsonnl. () No lctrical cabls may b run from powr points unlss protctd by a propritary protctiv covring. (f) It is strongly rcommndd that all paddock usrs ar in possssion of at last on srvicabl fir xtinguishr of ithr a 9L watr typ or 9kg dry powdr typ. All paddock usrs should acquaint thmslvs with th locations of all th fir call points within th paddock ara. (g) All paddock usrs must nsur that all lctrical appliancs which ar pluggd into th main paddock lctric supply points ar saf to us, chckd as pr manufacturrs instructions and this includs th supply wiring. All supply lads must not b doubld up using doubl adaptors or training xtnsion lads. 6.3 Pit Lan (a) Th outr lan or lans ar to b kpt unobstructd, to allow saf passag of cars at all tims. Th onus shall b on all drivrs to tak du car and driv at minimum spds in th pit lan. (b) Plas obsrv th pit lan spd limit which is 40mph. (c) Rfulling in th pit lan is not prmittd, unlss allowd for in th championship/sris rgulations. (d) Childrn undr th ag of 16 yars ar not prmittd in th pit lan or on th pit wall. () Only tam prsonnl with allocatd wristbands will b allowd accss to th pit wall. 6.4 Support Vhicls Th us of vhicls is not prmittd, unlss towing a trailr for th purpos of transporting ancillary motor rac quipmnt in th pit and paddock ara. No comptitor may us a support vhicl in th pit road at any tim, unlss authorisd by a rac official. Any misus of support vhicls will b brought to th attntion of th snior officials and appropriat action may b takn. 7 Signing on for Comptitors This will b in th Rac Scrtary s Offic (Ground Floor Rac Control Building), at th tims allocatd in th official timtabl. Drivrs will also b abl to sign on Saturday 17 th Novmbr btwn 15:00 and 17: All drivrs must provid: (a) MSA Comptition Rac Licnc and MSA Entrants Licnc (Whr applicabl). Comptitors with Non MSA Comptition Licncs (xcpt Motorsport Irland) compting in a National Evnt ar rmindd that undr Articl 2.3 of th Intrnational Sporting Cod, writtn approval must b givn by thir ASN to compt in this vnt. Writtn approval will b chckd at signing on. (b) Drivrs Mdical Crtificat (if not incorporatd in th Licnc) (c) Valid Club Mmbrship (whr applicabl) (d) Comptition Licnc Upgrad Card (if applicabl) Drivrs ar rmindd that upgrad cards must bar a rcnt photograph and b signd by th drivr bfor prsntation to th officials at Signing On. Without ths thy ar not valid. 7.2 It is th rsponsibility of th drivr to collct his/hr Rac Licnc and/or upgrad card aftr th vnt. 8 Scrutinring All vhicls will b scrutinisd in th Scrutinring Bay at th tims statd in th official timtabl. At Scrutiny, drivrs must provid: (a) Comptition Car (b) Paprwork from BRSCC Officials confirming drivr has signd on. (c) Crash hlmt, visor or goggls, glovs, boots, ovralls & FHR dvic (whr rquird) (d) Vhicl Idntification forms (if rquird) () MOT/road fund licnc (if rquird) 9 Eligibility In addition to th sris Eligibility Scrutinrs, ligibility may b chckd by a mmbr of th MSA Tchnical Commission, as listd in th MSA Officials Yarbook Appndix 5(d). Onc th assmbly is closd accss to th track is via th pit lan with th prmission of th Clrk of th Cours. 13 Rac Start Procdur / Safty Car All start procdurs will b in accordanc with th Championship/Sris rgulations. It is th comptitor s rsponsibility to nsur that thy ar rady in good tim. Undr idal conditions, th racing programm may b brought forward. Grids will b formd as pr championship /sris rgulations and th trms of th circuit licnc. Whr racs ar for a st tim duration, th chqurd flag will b shown to th rac ladr th first tim thy pass th Finish Lin aftr th tim has lapsd Standing Start Comptitors will lav th Assmbly Ara and go straight to th grid whr thy will b dirctd to thir allottd positions. Onc th grid is formd up, thr will b a countdown using th 1 minut thn 30 scond boards bfor th grn flag is shown to start th grn flag lap. On rturn, onc vhicls ar in corrct positions, a 5 scond board will b shown, followd by th rd lights coming on, 4 to 10 sconds aftr, th rd lights will b xtinguishd to signify th start of th rac. No prsonnl will b allowd on th grid. Wintr Sports, Saloons & Catrham Sris Rpris IT Tidman Trophy Wintr Formula Ford Sris 13.2 Rolling Start Comptitors will b corrctly positiond in th Assmbly Ara from whr thy will b rlasd onto th circuit to complt a Formation lap. At th conclusion of th Formation Lap th start of th rac will b signalld by th rd lights going off. Wintr Global GT Lights 13.3 Safty Car Intrvntion Th Clrk of th Cours will hav th facility to us th Safty Car in accordanc with th MSA Rgulation [Q Appndix 2]. It is th comptitor s rsponsibility to mak sur thy ar fully awar of ths rgulations. Th Safty Car will join th circuit from th pit lan xit and will xit th circuit via th pit lan ntranc Grn Flag/Formation Lap Should thr b a chang in wathr conditions which would ncssitat an additional grn flag/formation lap, thn at th discrtion of th Clrk of th Cours, th rac duration will commnc at th start of th scond grn flag/formation lap. 4 14 End of Track Sssion Procdur 14.1 At th nd of ach track sssion all cars must complt a slowing down lap aftr taking th chqurd flag and lav th circuit as dirctd by officials At th nd of your rac, prsntations will b carrid out in accordanc with championship/sris rgulations if tim prmits. Plas follow instructions of rac marshals tc. In th cas whr th prsntation dos not tak plac immdiatly aftr th rac, comptitors should rport to th Paddock/Rac Scrtaris offic. 15 Judicial Brachs of driving standards will b firmly dalt with. If th Clrk of th Cours wishs to viw vidnc form th TV production company, any comptitor s prsonal in-car camra, and/or data logging vidnc in ordr to assist with his nquiry into a brach of driving standards h may ordr that th rsults rmain provisional and h may tak judicial action at a latr dat. Howvr, th us of vido vidnc and/or data logging vidnc is at th sol discrtion of th Clrk of th Cours. This applis to all vhicls including mopds and motorcycls, with th xcption of mrgncy vhicls attnding an incidnt. ii Prsons riding mopds and motorcycls up to 125cc must hav a currnt UK provisional driving licnc or its intrnational quivalnt. iii Prsons riding motorcycls ovr 125cc must hav a currnt full UK motorcycl licnc or its intrnational quivalnt. iv Motorcycls should not b riddn in spctator aras. v All vhicls must at all tims kp to th markd roads whn moving round th vnu. vi Motorisd vhicls (including Quad Biks) may only b usd within circuit grounds on official rac tam businss. Public Safty i Comptitors and Entrants should b awar that th paddock may b opn to th public and should act in a mannr so as not to put ithr thmslvs or any othr prson at risk from injury. ii Comptitors and Entrants should xrcis particular caution whn th paddock is busy and during pits and track walkabouts. 14. Rporting of Accidnts and Incidnts i All accidnts whr any prson sustains injury, or whr damag to proprty occurs, must b rportd immdiatly to an official or a mmbr of th vnu managmnt. 15. Govrning Body Rgulations i Comptitors and Entrants ar rmindd of thir obligations to comply with th rquirmnts of th appropriat sporting rgulations at all tims and ths Guidanc Nots should b rad in conjunction with all othr rlvant rgulations.
