In spring centered versions, the pilot vlve vents oth chmers (6) to tnk in center position. his llows return springs (3) to center spool (2) with respect to housing (). ilot vlve (4) is supplied vi pssge (7), either internlly from min port "" or externlly through pilot port "". When solenoid is energized, one of the two end cps (6) is pressurized, while the other is drined to tnk. Conversion from option "S" meter-in (3) to option "S2" meter-out (4) requires removl of the pilot vlve (4). he O-ring plte (5) remins with the min vlve housing (), while the throttle vlve is rotted round the longitudinl xis. ilot vlve (4) is then re-instlled. ightening torque for olts (6) is 6.5 l-ft (8.9 Nm). ilot pressure reducing vlve (option "D3") o chieve smoother shifts with internlly piloted vlves, reduce internl pilot pressure to minimum vlues, nd optimize the pilot choke, meter-out throttle (S2). Option "D3", model ZDR 6 D2-5x/ 75M sndwich mounted reducing vlve (see dt sheet R ) cn e djusted from pproximtely 3 SI (2 r) to SI (75 r). pressure setting of 2 SI (4 r) to 4 SI (28 r) is usully dequte. Fixed rtio pilot pressure reducing vlve (option "D") Either the pilot pressure reducing vlve option "D3" or fixed rtio pilot pressure reducing vlve (7) must e used if pilot pressure will exceed 3625 SI (25 r). he fixed rtio reducing vlve (option "D") reduces the pilot pressure to the pilot vlve t fixed rtio of :.66.
