SEAFMD initiative SEAFMD : South East Asia foot and mouth disease control campaign * First established in 1994, as the OIE Sub-Commission of SEAFMD Control Campaign * Compose of 8 member countries; Malaysia, Thailand, Philippine, Cambodia, Myan mar, Laos, Vietnam and Indonesia * Organized an annual meeting of OIE Sub- Commission since 1 st - 16 th, this year meeting was held in Laos, March 2010 in 2010 : new SEA-C-FMD: * included new member from China as OIE Sub-Commission since May 2010 * approved membership of Brunei and * approved membership of Brunei and Singapore to SEACFMD Sub-Commission

29 Goal: SEAFMD 2020 Roadmap To provide the SEAFMD Campaign a long term strategic framework to achieve FMD freedom with vaccination by year 2020 Maintain the OIE recognised free zones without vaccination in Indonesia, Philippines, Malaysia and other areas by 2020 Objective: employ a series of integrated t and harmonised approaches to FMD control In 2010; revision of SEACFMD 2020 Roadmap strengthening on vaccine policy and strategy
