1 2015 VIETNAMESE AMERICAN MEDICAL ASSOCIATION (VAMA) CONVENTION WASHINGTON, D.C MEDICAL, DENTAL, AND PHARMACY Association of Vietnamese American Dentists & Vietnamese Medical Society of NE America August 21, 22, & 23, 2015 Sheraton Tysons Hotel PRELIMINARY PROGRAM The Medical Convention will provide a forum for the exchange of groundbreaking basic, translational, and clinical experience in different specialties in Medicine, Dentistry, and Pharmacy. This meeting will create an arena for the presentation and interchange of opinions in the understanding and management of different diseases in family medicine, internal medicine, endocrine, cardiology, spine surgery, pain management, clinical pharmacy, and dentistry. This meeting also will provide a forum for all healthcare professionals to discuss the cultural aspect and vision of medical care in the future. Overall Learning Objectives 1. Incorporate new scientific evidence into clinical care practice and improve outcome of adults with acute and chronic diseases. 2. Implement effective care plans to improve the long-term outcomes of different diseases. Target audience: Group include family practice physicians, Internists, Gastroenterologists, Cardiologists, Ob/Gyns, Nephrologists, Endocrinologists, orthopedic surgeons, neurosurgeons, Infectious disease specialists, Anesthesiologists, Hepatologists, PAs, Nurse Practitioners, and other health care professionals.
