2 2018 MEET INFORMATION Event Structure This event is the World Powerlifting 2018 World Championships in Powerlifting and Bench Press, Open, Junior & Masters. Lifters from nations within the WP regions of Oceania Powerlifting Federation, 100% RAW and World Powerlifting China will be entered in the World Championships and so may approved individual Lifters from new nations, subject to the 1st September closing date. Lifters from 100% RAW enter via this form, all entries from Oceana Powerlifting Federation and World Powerlifting China will be handled by the regions. The meet is also the 100% RAW Championships in Deadlift, Strict Curl, and Push/Pull (Bench Press plus Deadlift). Lifters from the nations within Oceania Powerlifting Federation and World Powerlifting China may also compete in the 100% RAW Deadlift, Strict Curl, and Push/Pull as an additional entry is a transitional year for integrating all Regions and Nations into World Powerlifting. Thus this 2018 event will be conducted in the traditional 100% RAW bodyweight classes of Womens 44kg, 48kg 52kg, 56kg, 60kg, 67.5kg, 75kg, 82.5kg, 90kg, 90+kg, and Mens 52kg, 56kg, 60kg, 67.5kg, 75kg, 82.5kg, 90kg, 100kg, 110kg, 125kg, 140kg 140+kg. However World Records can be set in the World Powerlifting classes (48, 53, 58, 64, 72, 84, 100, 100+ and 62, 69, 77, 85, 94, 105, 120, 120+). 4 2018 COMPETITION INFORMATION Events - World Powerilfting World Championships, Powerlifting and Bench Press - 100% RAW World Championships Deadlift, Push/Pull, Strict Curl World Powerlifting Competition Entry Qualification - Current 100% RAW Powerlifting Federation, Oceania Powerlifting Federation, or World Powerlifting China membership via your nation or approved new nation. - Return of entry form to Paul Bossi by 1st September Payment of competition entry fee - Present membership card during weigh-in/equipment check Shirts & Apparel - Event shirts & other 100% Raw Powerlifting and World Powerlifting apparel will be on sale. - Each lifter will receive one event t-shirt free. - You can order more on the entry form for $20 each. Spectators There will be a $10 fee for each day for spectators at the door. There will be a 4-day pass available for $25. Lifters and officials are free with their lifting pass. Awards Presentation Awards will be presented each day at the end of each session. Weigh-In & Scales Scales will be available from 9.00am Thursday 11th at the official hotel/venue.
