A special thanks to our board, vendors and members who made this all possible. The plants were spectacular and our guests went home with some amazing orchids. A lot of work goes into planning and executing such an event. The funds raised at the auction pays for costs such as Deicke, speakers, concessions, holiday party, office expenses, shows, and other miscellaneous items for the year. Our holiday party will be here before you know it. Come join us at the Ft. Lauderdale Golf Course and Country Club on Wednesday December 13 for an evening of fine dining, entertainment and cocktails. No cash at bar. Only Charge cards. Please fill out your forms and bring them to the November meeting. Space is limited. Jose has over 30 years experience, is a Senior judge for AOS, Past president of the Coalition for Orchid Species and has lectured globally. 4 OUR NOVEMBER SPEAKER Jose Exposito from Soroa orchids How to Grow Phalaenopsis Jose Exposito, founder of Soroa Orchids, is a Senior judge of the American Orchid Society, past President of the Coalition for Orchid species, and Vice President of the Redland Orchid Growers, the hosts and organizers of the largest International Orchid Festival taking place annually in the USA. He lectures on orchid growing and hybridizing all over the world including the pasts World Orchid Conferences in Rio de Janeiro and in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
