3 pinc Aboutpinc Over the past 10 years, a group of young Central Valley women have joined together to raise over $600,000 to benefit local non-profits that serve women and children. Philanthropy Inspired by the Needs of our Community (PINC) was founded in 2008 on the principle of helping to meet the ever-evolving charitable needs of our community. The 70 service-oriented young women of PINC embody the spirit of charity and are committed to giving back to the greater Central Valley community. Since our inaugural event in June 2009, the funds raised by PINC have benefited several non-profit organizations including Angel Babies of Hinds Hospice, Marjaree Mason Center, Make-A-Wish Foundation of Central California, Break the Barriers, Catholic Charities, Transitions Children s Services, Holy Cross Center for Women, Feed Our Future and Heart of the Horse Therapy Ranch. Our most recent beneficiary, Valley Children s Healthcare Oncology/Social Services Family Help Fund, received $120,000 raised exclusively from our annual PINC Party. benefiting Breaking Chains Breaking the Chains (BTC) is a 501 c (3) organization that was founded in 2014 to provide hope, healing, and restoration to survivors of human trafficking. Breaking the Chains is a program that was developed in direct response to the growing number of young people who are the victims of human trafficking. The number of human trafficking cases in the Central Valley is growing exponentially. The victims of human trafficking are predominately young girls and women who are being sexually exploited. BTC provides food, emergency shelter, education, job readiness/preparation, job placement, transitional care, long term housing (2 years at a safe house), comprehensive care management, addiction counseling, trauma therapy, equine therapy, art therapy, group therapy, relocation services, legal support, court advocacy, and emergency fund assistance to minor and adult human trafficking victims.
