3 About the Event About the Center The 20th Annual Bright Futures Celebration is your chance to be a game changer in the fight against child abuse. For the past 19 years, our Celebration has united local businesses and community leaders for an evening of entertainment and giving. The Child Abuse Prevention Center is dedicated to serving at-risk children and families with programs that prevent and break the generational cycle of child abuse, teen pregnancy and family violence. In 2016, 48,000 instances of child abuse were reported in Orange County. Since our founding in 1983, we have served more than 300,000 Orange County children and parents. Over ninety cents of every dollar donated goes directly to fund our programs.
