1 Volunteer Voice News Needs Training January 2016 IN THIS ISSUE Joyous Toys Highlights *Volunteer Updates* Thank You, Adopt-a-Family Donors Volunteers Needed! WELCOME TO NEW VOLUNTEERS Truanna Boodraj Passion City Church Patricia Bell Peachtree Baptist Church Over 750 Children Receive Toys for Christmas During the week of December 7, 2015, BCM hosted its annual Joyous Toys Store at Peachtree Presbyterian Church. This year, there were several exciting changes to the Joyous Toys program that included: extending the appointment hours to provide more options for the parents to shop, creating gift wrapping stations in the wrapping room and providing each child between the ages of 12 and 17 with an Amazon Fire Tablet as their gift! We are extremely grateful for the support, volunteer hours and donations that helped make the 2015 Joyous Toys Store the most successful year to date! With your help, over 750 children were served through the Joyous Toys Store and in our office with Extended Toys. Thank you to our church partners and donors, corporate sponsors, volunteers, and the staff of Peachtree Presbyterian Church for helping spread the joy and hope of Christmas to so many families! HAPPY NEW YEAR!
