6 SJB ANNUAL AUCTION SJB Parents and Guardians, The annual Saint John the Baptist Catholic Schools Auction is Saturday, April 14, For those new to our community, and anyone who has yet to attend, the event (previously known as the Blizzard Ball and Blossom Ball) is our largest fundraiser of the year. It s a great night of community building for parents. The night includes silent auction, raffles, dinner, live auction, dancing and gaming tables. There will be something for everyone. We hope to see you there! There are many ways to get involved with the Auction; join a committee, volunteer the night of, attend the event, become a sponsor, purchase raffle tickets or donate to the silent or live auction. Each year, our auction receives wonderful donations from local businesses, school families and friends. Donations include but are not limited to: dining certificates, tickets to concerts, theater productions and sporting events, sports memorabilia, spa services, overnight or weekend stays at hotels or vacation rentals, ski passes, beautiful artwork and home decor, jewelry, gourmet food baskets. The list goes on Please consider donating an item, goods or service or even a full basket to the auction. Our event would not be successful without the support of all our generous donors. Also, as part of the live and silent auction, each class at SJB Elementary will create a Project that will be auctioned off the night of the event. The school projects bring in the majority of our auction night revenue. Many classes have already submitted creative ideas and have begun planning their project. To help offset costs, parents may donate to their class project. Some project coordinators request item donations to accompany the project. Monetary donations can also be made via a check/cash directly to SJB Elementary or online with a credit card. A receipt for your monetary donation is available upon request. Parents can earn two service hours for every $25 s in value donated to the auction. Please follow this LINK to donate online. Thank you for your continued support of the SJB Annual Auction. Stay tuned for upcoming information on registration and sponsorship opportunities. We look forward to seeing you at the event!
