Recap Bowling + Rangeeli Holi We would like to thank everyone who came to this event and made it truly wonderful with their active, enthusiastic and energetic participation. Hope you had fun swinging the arm while bowling, enjoyed the Holi celebrations thereafter and managed to tickle your funny bone. It was fantastic to organize an event for you and we are humbled by your amazing feedbacks. The positive responses hint us that we are on the right track and keep us motivated to organize even better events in the future for you. Not to forget, we realized that IAB has some world class bowling talent. Soft copies of the photos from the photo booth will also be available online, furthermore you can treasure these wonderful memories forever by buying the hard copies, which are edited externally by a professional, for merely CHF 3.- per print. In case you do not want your photos online just let us know and we will filter them out. Although such a request in conjunction with a request to send them privately will not be fulfilled. 3 Our second event: IAB s Got T lent! After enjoying bowling and the festival of colours the next item on the IAB calendar of 2017 is IAB s Got T lent! The aim is to discover and encourage performances by our talented members, young and old. Like all previous years we look forward to having some exciting and unique performances. The children have already started practicing for this event and their commitment and enthusiasm will surely make this evening a memorable one. We shall also see talented adults among us on the stage. We sincerely thank all the participants who are practicing regularly to make this program a grand success. 5 Our third event: Day Picnic We would like to inform you in advance about the Day Picnic planned for the 17 June 2017, so do block the date! This time, we are taking you to the serene ambience of a Swiss forest not far from the Zürichsee. We have reserved the Waldhütte Männedorf in the midst of nature for all of us to enjoy. We will be primarily outdoors (weather permitting) and will have a fun filled day to enjoy. Detailed information on the event will follow. President s message Dear members, I kindly request you to help us make our GALA brochure appealing by sending us interesting articles, stories, poems, life experiences, etc. I would also be happy to receive any piece of art you would want to share in the brochure (photographs, sketches, paintings, etc). We would also like to share in our brochure the talents of IAB kids. Hence, I would welcome any piece of work of your child (writings, poems, paintings) that you think is appropriate to be included in the GALA brochure. 6 IAB membership fees: If you haven t done so already we would like to remind you to pay your membership fees for We request you to pay your membership fees by 30 April Please make separate payments for your annual membership fee and for any event. This makes the tracking easier. The following membership fees are applicable for the year 2017: Family member: CHF 100 Family comprises husband, wife & children till 18 years Single member: CHF 65 Student member: CHF 25 Gentle reminder: Not paying the fees does not automatically denote a resignation as a member. The fees will still be payable unless an official resignation has been received. If your child has recently crossed 18 years of age, we kindly request you to register him/her as a student member! Thank you for your understanding. Personal details: In case your home address, address, telephone numbers have changed recently, we would kindly ask you to notify us and forward us those details so we can update our database accordingly and make sure you receive all our communications.
