Ph PO Box 212 Yarram Commercial Rd Yarram 3971 yclc@dcsi.com.au Parks Week 2018 Family Fun Day Saturday 3rd March 2018 Yarram Memorial Gardens Lots of Activities for kids and adults Parks Victoria hold Parks Week in March every year to encourage people to get out and explore the outdoor spaces around them. This year YCLC is coordinating a family fun day in the Yarram Memorial Gardens, for families to get out and get active in Yarram. We have the Scout Abseiling and Rock climbing wall coming, there will be exercises in the park, rock n roll dance demos, as well as yummy food to purchase, a jumping Castle for the kids, badminton nets, flower arranging with Yarram Fresh Flowers, craft activities, woodwork with the Mens Shed as well as lots of fun and laughter. So bring the family out for the Day at Yarram Memorial Gardens. I Welcome to the February Edition of The Drum can t believe we are in to February already, 1/12th of the year gone, just like that! We have some exciting things planned for Term 1. Come along to Parks Week on the 3rd of March at Yarram Memorial Gardens, or help with Clean Up Australia Day on the 4th March. It s a place men can hang out, build a few things, even if you haven t been before, and give back to the community. The Yarram Men s Shed is a relaxed, stress free environment where Men can be Men. Monthly on a Tuesday afternoon. $5/session Register your interest Meditation with Rosie 1hr class including 30mins basic guided mediation and breathing and relaxation exercises. 5 Term 1 At the Fitness Zone Do you to get fit, or a bit more active? We have a class for everyone! Training Mon & Thurs pm Our Strength classes are a full bodied workout designed to develop and maintain strength and tone through use of weights and body weight exercises. Jayne s Strength Classes are full at present, however, If you are interested, give us a call as Justine can run another class. Fast 7 Furious and Body Circuit, are an F45 style class. It s a combination of cardio & strength, designed to maximise fitness in minimal time. There is still room in Jayne s Monday Fast & Furious class, but her Wednesday class is full. Justine s Fast & Furious Class is up and running early on a Tuesday morning. Still plenty of spaces available. Kick start your day with a workout. Mon pm Tues 6-7am Wed 6-7pm Body Michelle is just about to start her Body Circuit on a Tuesday night. Places still available. Tues pm Get Fit with A Twist. Our Boxing classes offer a different way to exercise. All Welcome, open to all ages. Wed 6-7am Scotty still has a couple spots available for his boxing class on a Wednesday morning. Eugene is starting a Dance Fit class. Get fit and learn popular dances like the Macarena etc. Suitable for all ages, Slippery Soles needed. We are looking at Wednesday nights pm. Register your interest for any of these classes on $7.50/class, there s 8 weeks left of this term, so that s $60 (Boxing is $8.50/class, so that s $68).
