2 DEAR COLLEAGUES, Idaho MGMA invites you to attend our 2018 Annual Conference, at Boise State University September 12-14, This conference will provide practical updates you can apply in your current practice. Speakers were selected by monitoring trends in practice management, as well as past program evaluations. Our keynote speakers this year include: Ted Epperly, MD Dr. Epperly is President/CEO of Family Medicine Residency of Idaho, a FQHC comprised of six clinics, three ACGME family medicine residency programs, and four fellowships. Dr. Epperly served as past-president and Board Chair of the American Academy of Family Physicians. He is also a current member of the ACGME Board of Directors, and the Governor-appointed Chairman for the Idaho Healthcare Coalition, helping transform healthcare for the State of Idaho. David Glickman If laughter is the best medicine, then David Glickman should be covered by every insurance. David has been a professional speaker and entertainer for over 20 years and has presented over 2,000 speeches and shows. He s worked with Steve Martin, he s been the opening act for Ellen DeGeneres, and even performed at Gloria Estefan s birthday party. Whether you re an expert at golf or have never played, come join us Wednesday for our 9-Hole Annual Golf Tournament at the Boise Ranch Golf Course for an enjoyable morning of fun and the excellent company of your peers! With undulating greens, eight lakes, and ponds, the Boise Ranch Golf Course s 6,611 yard, par-71 layout includes one of the longest par 5's in the state of Idaho. Then, come to the Welcome Reception on Wednesday evening for an opportunity to socialize with colleagues and enjoy some fun trivia games at Tailgate Taphouse and Grill! On Thursday, attend our Business Luncheon for an annual report from the Idaho MGMA board and further networking opportunity. Don t miss the Annual Awards Reception later that evening, where the theme will be a Hawaiian Luau - wear your favorite Hawaiian shirt or dress and enjoy the evening s dinner and dueling piano show! This event is free to full conference registrants and will be held at the Steuckle Sky Center Double R Ranch Club Room.
