1 Greetings Members! Mark your calendars for September 14 th and 15 th 2012 for an event you will not want to miss! The Charleston Association of Insurance Professionals (CAIP) and the Insurance Women of the Low Country (IWLC) are proud to welcome you all to the Charleston Marriott in Charleston, SC to celebrate 50 years of IWSC/IPSC history! Along with the annual business session, our program includes cutting-edge CE classes and fabulous entertainment. Registration will be open at 7:30 AM for the convenience of those attending class. Feed your mind at the 2012 IPSC Education Station! Classes will start at 8:00 AM on Friday September 14 th. We will have two classes open to the public and one class for members only. We are honored to have Charlene Spelts teaching the AIAM Day 5 classes, which will be open to the public. The lovely Diana Fink of the Central Insurance School will be teaching a CPII class just for members. Charlene and Diane are amazing teachers and we encourage you to take advantage of this opportunity for quality education. Events Exhibitors will open at 1:00 PM and remain open until 7:00 PM. Please take a moment to thank our supporters for their sponsorship and time. This is your opportinuty to network! Friday night is our wecome party and the theme is Music through the Decades. Put on your Blue Suede shoes and get footloose with us! We also invite you to dress like your favorite musician, from any decade, for our costume contest. You won t be able to keep yourself from dancing when you see the entertainment we have in store for you! Don t forget to set your alarms for Saturday morning. We will have a memorial breakfast to honor those members who have passed during the prior year. If you need a little help getting out of bed, the Charleston Marriott has a Starbucks inside the hotel. Get lost in history with our Gullah story-teller and the sweet smell of magnolias as we congratulate our CPIW, CPIM, CIIP, and DAE designees at our Moonlight and Magnolias themed Leadership Luncheon on Saturday. It will be an event to remember.

Well the Charleston Marriott offers a shuttle to Downtown Charleston where you will find plenty of shops, entertainment, and delicious food to fill your free time. Please see the rest of the registration for information about the shuttles. The final celebration of our council s golden anniversary will happen at the History is Golden Banquet. Join us for the installation of officers, annual awards, and some good ole IPSC fellowship. Put on your best attire and show your support for our new officers and awards recipients. 4 Hotel Reservations should be made directly with the Charleston Marriott 170 Lockwood Boulevard, Charleston, SC When calling the hotel, refer to Insurance Professionals of SC. Room rates are $ per night with 2 queen size beds or one king size bed suite. Deadline for the Room Rate is 8/13/2012 The Charleston Marriott is offering a shuttle to downtown Charleston. The shuttle runs from 8:00 AM to 10:00 PM and will take you to Waterfront Park every hour on the hour. The cost for the shuttle is $6.00 for a daily pass. THIS IS NOT INCLUDED IN YOUR REGISTRATION. If you are interested in the shuttle you may purchase the pass when you check in. You will have plenty of free time to go downtown on Saturday.
