The meeting was led by Jessica Chiechi and Terri Ward, and included all of our class instructors, part time staff, and volunteers from Bingo, front office, library, and various groups.

The evening was an opportunity to bring everyone together, introduce new volunteers, office procedures, what s coming up, and discuss suggestions and ideas for programming. Most importantly, it was an opportunity to show appreciation to our staff and volunteers for all their hard work and dedication. The meeting was led by Jessica Chiechi and Terri Ward, and included all of our class instructors, part time staff, and volunteers from Bingo, front office, library, and various groups. We are very lucky to have such dedicated staff and volunteers at our. Without them, we could not function as well as we do, or provide the quality classes and programs offered to our participants. Thank you to all of our volunteers, staff and participants for making this such a thriving, active and fun Center for our community. 2 The front landscaping received a helping hand from Girl Scout Troop # 4095 on Saturday, October 21st. With the assistance of Eddie Garcia and Nick Smith from Community Services Parks Maintenance, the girls put out fresh bark and planted flowers and bushes in the front of the sign and building. Thank you girls for all your hard work! 2 This Halloween was another one for the books at the thanks to Beth and her fabulous crew! A bowl of fruit loops, a gumball machine... Wouldn t it be fun to take a look back at Beth s past Halloween costumes over the years?...an idea for a future issue!

We have a lot of great trips planned for Spring! The next trip sign-up day is scheduled for February 6th. In the meantime, there s still room on some of our current open trips. 4 Annual Resource Fair On Thursday, November 2nd, the hosted its annual Senior Resource Fair. Over 40 vendors were available to offer valuable information and resources to seniors in our community, including healthcare, housing, legal, PG&E, and many more services. Approx seniors attended throughout the 3 hour event, making this year s one of the busiest. Pictured above left: Tanna Thomas and Tony Kurlan from the Senior Commission. Holiday Arts & Crafts Fair 4 Thank you to all the artists, crafters and shoppers who participated in our Holiday Arts & Crafts Fair held on Saturday, November 18th.
