The therapeutic success for patients and the safety of clinical users are given top priority. Rely on a system that convinces with outstanding clinical results and, thanks to the proven JOTEC Squeeze-to-Release mechanism, guarantees precision and safety during deployment as well. The well-established materials polyester and nitinol form the basis of the self-expanding E-vita ABDOMINAL XT stent graft. The modular product design also comprises iliac and aortic extensions, in addition to the main body and the contralateral leg. Flexible design The components can be selected individually to match the patient s vascular anatomy. Contralateral legs and iliac extensions are available in various lengths and diameters. 2

3 ABDOMINAL XT Proven stent graft design for individual treatment Secure fixation and adaptation The number of spring tips is adapt - ed to the stent graft diameter; the spring rows overlap. This provides for optimum proximal adaptation and secure anchoring of the main body and the aortic extension. The proxi - mal bare spring enables suprarenal positioning of the stent graft. Highest stability The configuration of the nitinol stent springs is accurately adapted to the individual stent graft modules for optimum radial force, kink-resistance, flexibility and long i- tudinal stiffness. Patient-specific solutions The main body is available in various total and trunk lengths as well as numerous proximal and diameters to allow for individual vascular anatomies to be treated optimally. Precise positioning X-ray markers on the stent graft components guarantee excellent visibility and accurate positioning. The radiopaque E-marker on the short leg helps to identify the position of the prosthesis in the vessel even more exactly. 3

4 Squeeze-to-Release mechanism for precise and controlled handling The unique JOTEC delivery system is characterised by outstanding handling properties and ideally supports the user during the treatment, enabling best workflows in each phase of the implantation: Gentle, atraumatic access to the vascular system Lesions are reliably reached by the catheter Accurate positioning of the stent graft Controlled, precise deployment thanks to the patented JOTEC Squeeze-to-Release mechanism Delivery systems for main bodies and aortic extensions are available in sizes as from 20 F for contralateral legs and iliac extensions even in sizes as from 16 F. Precise release The Squeeze-to- Release mechanism allows for gradual or continuous release at minimum effort. Controlled positioning The ergonomic shape of the con trol handle secures the position of the delivery system during the procedure. Easy handling The operating mode of the Squeeze-to-Release mechanism is set by simply moving the switch. Either parking position (P), deployment (D) or neutral position (N) can be selected. As soon as the switch is moved to D, the lever mechanism opens and the system is activated. By slightly moving the lever up and down the stent graft is deployed gradually. In neutral position, the handle for deploying the stent graft can be moved continuously. 4

5 ABDOMINAL XT Latest catheter technology for optimum pushability and trackability Visible advancement The radiopaque ring marker at the front end of the catheter provides information about the degree of stent graft release. Atraumatic vessel access The flexible and radiopaque tip ensures atraumatic vascular access. Smooth delivery The hydrophilic coating facili - tates the introduction and advance of the stent graft even in narrow and tortuous vessels. Highest flexibility The multi-zone catheter specifically developed for E-vita ABDOMINAL XT is particularly flexible, enabling safe pushability and precise trackability even in strongly tortuous vessels.the catheter s working length is 55 cm. 5
