1 S PECIFIC SOFT TISSUE MOBILISATION (SSTM) LOWER LIMB Course tutor - Glenn Hunter MSc, MCSP, SRP, Cert ED FE Glenn Hunter is a Chartered physiotherapist, has a Master s degree with distinction in Sports medicine and is the consultant in Performance Medicine with the research and innovation team at Uk sport. His main role in this post is to facilitate the delivery of medical and therapeutic innovations that have a performance impact in Olympic and Paralympic sport. Previously Glenn was a principle lecturer at the University of the West of England in Bristol. His main teaching areas were clinical biomechanics, sports medicine, developing clinical reasoning and research. His research interests are in muscle tendon unit injury and from he was the lead researcher on an investigation into hamstring injuries in professional football for the football association. In 2003 Glenn was the winner of the international HvU award for sports physiotherapy, which is awarded by the international federation of sports physiotherapy for outstanding achievement in this field.
