2 General Information Desription This onferene brings together an interdisiplinary group of professionals who work in the field of hildhood and adolesent obesity or are onfronted with this growing problem. The sessions have been proposed based on a framework of living (home/ ommunity environment), learning (shool environment) and working (work environment) and how these settings are assoiated with hilhood obesity. A fous of this onferene will inlude ultural onsiderations for working with Aboriginal ommunities and individuals. Objetives To disseminate the Canadian linial pratie guidelines for preventing and managing hildhood obesity with fous on pratial reommendations for implementation. To highlight issues that influene how we live, how we learn, and how we work and their impliations for hildhood obesity. To provide a forum for networking and ollaborating among health professionals, eduators, researhers, trainees and other stakeholders with an interest in hildhood obesity.
