Birmingham Bowl-athon for Spina Bifida. In the process we raised over $18,000 to continue our mission to promote the prevention of Spina Bifida and enhance the lives of all affected!

Her love for those affected by Spina Bifida drives our Birmingham Bowl-a-thon each and every year. She spends countless hours working with us to be sure every detail is perfect.

Speaking of our families, we want to give a HUGE Thank you to all of you who came out and worked so hard to fund raise this year!

In the process we raised over $18,000 to continue our mission to promote the prevention of Spina Bifida and enhance the lives of all affected! We are so grateful for all of the hard work that went into making this event a success. First, we want to thank our lovely hostess, Betsy Hopson. Her love for those affected by Spina Bifida drives our Birmingham Bowl-a-thon each and every year. She spends countless hours working with us to be sure every detail is perfect. We also want to recognize our amazing group of sponsors who not only support us financially, but who also passionately care for our SBA of AL families. Speaking of our families, we want to give a HUGE Thank you to all of you who came out and worked so hard to fund raise this year! You are the heart of our organization, and we are so appreciative of your support. Our top individual donors were Becky Wester, Dylan Wilson, and Michelle Taylor. Thank you for going the extra mile to raise funds and awareness! We are also very grateful to Children s Hospital of Alabama and UAB for all you do to support our families. You not only provide several sponsorships, but your employees also fill up many of our lanes. Last, but certainly not least, we also want to thank this year s photographer, Amanda Moses Photography, who not only did a beautiful job capturing the Bowl-a-thon but also provided an amazingly fun photo booth for our families and maybe a few of our staff members! Don t miss your opportunity to attend the 2015 Camp VIP, Take Four which will once again be held at the beautiful Children s Harbor on Lake Martin. This weekend is packed full of both fun and education! Since there is limited space, we are offering early registration to families who have not had the chance to attend past camps. First Time Camper Registration: April 6-10, 2015 Second Time Camper Registration: April 13-17, 2015 Third and Fourth Time Camper Registration April 20-24, 2015 Advanced Education Scholarship Don t miss your opportunity to apply for the Advanced Education Scholarship. Applications are due by May 31, Up to four, $1000 scholarships will be awarded to deserving Alabama students affected by Spina Bifida. Applicants must have a GPA of 2.0 or higher, submit an essay and provide a copy of their grades for review. We will also provide each attendee with $5 toward concessions. Please RSVP for the game of your choice by May 8th.
