We re asking children across the UK to get involved this October for our Halloween MONSTER FUN draising event. As well as raising funds to support our vital work, you ll be helping us to raise awareness of childhood cancer. Why not organise a hair-raising event at your school, home or in your local community. 4 There are lots of fun ways you could raise funds for CCLG. Here are some ideas to get you started... HAVE A MONSTER DRESS DOWN DAY Ditch the uniform or work wear in exchange for donations of 1 and wear your own comfy clothes to school or work. Raise extra funds with a monster fancy dress day! BAKE SALE A great way to raise money and awareness, encourage your friends, colleagues or school to get baking. Raise extra funds with a monster themed cake-decorating competition! MOVIE NIGHT Invite friends and family to your own mini cinema. Sell tickets, drinks and popcorn. Raise extra funds with a movie lucky dip... names in a hat and the winner gets to choose the film! RAFFLE Get friends, family and students and even local businesses to donate raffle prizes to raise funds. Raise extra funds by holding an auction for larger prize donations.

5 OR A MONSTER MASH Put on your dancing shoes and dance the night away! Charge an entry fee to your Monster Mash! Raise extra funds for guests to attend in monster fancy dress! MAKE Get crafty... knit, sew, paint and upcycle! Set up your stall and sell your creations! Raise extra funds with craft workshops, and charge a booking fee to attend. SPORTS DAY Oganise a sponsored walk, cycle, swim or run. Get active whilst raising funds! Raise extra funds for people to take part in monster fancy dress! PARTY Organise a special event to raise funds, like a talent show or musical evening. Raise extra funds with a Monster Quiz or raffle for your guests! SCOOT Organise some family fun with a half mile or 1 mile scoot acround your local park. Raise extra funds by selling monster decorations for the scooters!

Over the last 40 years, CCLG has played a key role in the major improvements in survival rates and the standards of care for children. We bring together childhood cancer professionals to ensure all children receive the best possible treatment and care. There are still some childhood cancers with a poor outlook, and many treatments can have long-lasting side effects. Further research is therefore vital, and the ultimate aim of CCLG is to cure as many children as possible while reducing the short and long-term side effects of treatment. We fund and support research into childhood cancers, and we help young patients and their families with our expert, high quality and award-winning information resources. Thank you for your support.
