Now is the time to reconnect with your local consumers and show appreciation of their loyalty. The Chamber s Shop Local Discount Card Program should be part of your strategy. Thanks to the Apache Junction/Gold Canyon News, The Independent News, and Pass Times Paper we will be promoting all of our members who participate in the discount card program. There is NO FEE to participate simply agree to a discount of 10, 15 or 20% from May 4 th to October 31 st and you too can be included in the program! We will handle the promotion, inform card holders weekly of the participating businesses as well as the businesses of the week. Firefly Signs is providing a banner flag sign which we will locate in front of your business during the week you are our featured business. All fellow Shop Local participating businesses will display a poster to help promote one another, a sticker indicating the level of discount being offered and will have the opportunity to be the Shop Local featured Business of the Week. Melissa, an Apache Junction resident and mother of 3 with an extensive background in the hospitality industry has a vested interest in seeing our community continue to flourish. In order to keep membership costs affordable, we rely heavily on volunteer efforts. From The Festival of the Superstitions to our scholarship committee, you may find something you re passionate about and make a few new friends all while helping us fulfill our mission and goals as an organization. Recognize Great Businesses and Much More On May 28 at 5:30 at Dolce Vita on Goldfield Road we will recognize our Chamber businesses and volunteer as well as the firefighter, police officer, teacher and professor of the year. Please save the date and plan on joining us to recognize these worthy recipients in our community!
