Open Forum Tracy- March 31 - Works Steps or Die Workshop Bay Area Activities invited our Area to there Unity Day! The flyer is attached. Intent of motion: Foster Unity and an atmosphere of love, empathy and kindness in Recovery Common Ground Finding common ground takes talking and time. Some of us are more articulate than others. We work hard to hear each other and to help each other express ideas. We show patience, encouragement, and gratitude to our fellows for their involvement, and remember that no voice is greater than any other. We never know where answers will come from or what new solution we might find together. 6 Motion made by: Public Relations Second by: SSS To purchase Basic text in English and Spanish for each middle and High school in pasco county. 34 sets in Total $825 Intent of motion: To carry the message to the sick and suffering Addict Impact on Area: Financial and spiritual Pros: WWM: We have tangible evidence of the need SSS: To satisfy the request from the school board Cons: Will the kids steal it SUBCOMMITTEE REPORTS Policy (D): Policy subcommittee 2nd Sunday 12-1:45 10 people in attendance we discussed the literature budget being separated from hni literature needed. we will be getting with literature team and hopefully have a motion written at next month policy. discussed having a asc successor list of facilitation. we are going to do research and come together next month on this topic. we discussed changing policy meeting time. so our decision is to meet at choir room 2nd Sunday of the month from 12:45 to 1:45. come out and be a part of. PR please make proper changes needed. we discussed can our subcommittee make motions that pertain to our committee. we decided that we are in no conflict if we write motions that pertain to pages 1-16 and since the motions would change policy they have to hit asc floor and need to be seconded. also can be waved to handle at asc if body feels that fits. we discussed a motion related to changing asc format and PR asking for a one time expense for basic texts. both motions were reviewed and will be hitting floor today. Jim totally committed provided me with a resource to get policies and binders printed. thank you.

7 for anyone who has concerns with policy budget. here is how it breaks down. 25 policies needed. policy is 80 pages. 80x25 = 2,000 gsr tool kit - 32 pages x 25 copies needed = binders once a year - $2ea x 25 = $50 miscelanious supplies - $50 we are actually budgeted to little but we will make it work as a committee. Next month we will be discussing asc successor list, literature budget, asc secretary guidelines, and looking at having a month review for motion prior to having a vote. items in near future to discuss are - disaster plan, gsr orientation, nominee voting process, banking guidelines, and archive maintaining. RCM: Activities (B): 3/11/18 Last event bowling night was a huge success. It was well supported with over 50 people there. Thank you to everyone that came out. Our next event is March 25th, St.Patty Sims park. It starts at 10am, lunch at 12, and a speaker at 1pm. $5 No Addict Turned Away! ( Our pavilion is number 5 which is next to the back parking lot near the river. To park back there go around orange lake.) Its going to be a great time so come on out. On April 21st Activities will be helping with an Obstacle course at Bay areas Unity day so come out and help us support there area the way they came and supported ours. More will be revealed on other events as we get closer to them. 8 Active members 42 Continues to grow H&I sees approximately 200 newcomers a week. Panel Leader required for Trinity behavioral heath. Clean time required is 1 year. Day Thursday, Friday or Saturday 6-7 pm H&I meeting time is now 1 pm at First Presbyterian Church 7540 Ridge Road New facilities Juvenile Detention Center - awaiting PR/H&I presentation Regional Hospital Bayonet Point - awaiting facility input. Coalition for the Homeless - new facility expected to open in September. North Tampa Behavioral Health Wesley Chapel - awaiting PR/H&I presentation Adhoc committee formed to review H&I policy. H&I will participate in a Learning Day May 26, H&I has a stamp for literature now. Recovery Coast Area of Narcotics Anonymous Hospitals and Institutions Subcommittee 24 hour helpline number and web page are listed. Public Relations(R): Helpline is going well. All positions are filled on the helpline. Mark H was voted in as Helpline coordinator. Mary was voted in as vice-chair. Heather has been voted as PR coordinator/secretary. April 11th we will have the PR booth at the courthouse starting at 9am. March 8th we had a booth at the overdose prevention event. Mary, Matt, Chanel, Heather and Matt attended. PR will be at 10am at Sims Park. March 25th because of Easter Sunday. Literature(R): Hello Family my name is Ron and month there was 7 backorders which were filled.i pulled all the overflow of the literature and will be turning it over to the subcommittees to keep in accordance with our budget. I passed out a new cover page and literature form. I will have copies until It can be put on the website.
