Shellie H. was Nominated. Shellie s Bio I have a desire to serve this area as Literature Chairperson. I will be able to fulfill the two year term, god willing. I have served the area as group secretary, group treasurer, area Treasurer, Area Activities Vice Chair and Area Chair Person. Each of those positions were fulfilled in terms. I have a working knowledge of the 12 steps, traditions, and concepts as suggested through Narcotics Anonymous. I work regularly with my sponsor and sponsees. I enjoy service work as it allows me to give back to the fellowship. Shellie H. Open Floor: Item #1 Lit Audit Chad J (Lincoln) When I was done as Chair there was never an audit done. I have never been taken off of account. I would like taken off of account and audit done. Gary, Shellie, Chad Will have audit and adjust account. Item #2 Chad J (Lincoln) All Area sponsored Activities will have area approval. Does this mean we should be voting on these? Was there anything submitted this year for activities? Shellie spoke on tentative schedule was submitted to area at beginning of year. Item #3 Chad J (Lincoln) Working Knowledge of Guidelines. Should all GSR s have working knowledge of guidelines? Discussion was held. Was determined that it can take years to learn these. New Business- Motion #1 To Add the words in the form of a motion between the words budget & at in the ASC guidelines under Section 6 Finances subsection 10. Maker Dave R. Right Now this guideline reads subsection 10 Each subcommittee and XC committee members will submit an annual budget at the beginning of the fiscal year, which runs from February to February. If Motion Passes, would read Each subcommittee and XC committee member will submit an annual budget in the form of a motion at the beginning of the fiscal year, which runs from February to February. Take to groups for vote #3 Motion: To amend guidelines. Activities will provide yearly tentative schedule of events. All area funded activities to be approved. I will use 5 cartridges throughout the year and this totals $ I will use 2 bundles of printer paper this physical year at $4.25. Which totals $8.50. I send one group minutes via snail mail. This costs $1.28 per month, which totals $15.36 for the year. I will need a budget this year of $ Chad J. 6 6 P a g e few withdrawls of nominations chair for PI & Treasurer and Next Region July 14 street dance NRCNA fundraiser Kim RCM/ALT- No report H&I- Hello Family Senana H&I has been continuing it s efforts in the local community. We ve been having meetings in Touchstone, NSP, LCF and LCC men and women. I wish to thank panel leader for LCF, Paul s been doing it for a while, it s a good way to make a difference service position in this area. The clean-time requirements for jails is three years. I will be submitting a list of goals at next area, first I want to discuss them at our next H&I meeting. I went to Region on Saturday and submitted my report. Our last quarter we had $30.00 for rent and $99.40 for literature. We were $ under budget Chris S. H&I currently has a quarterly budget of per quarter for Literature. PI REPORT FOR APRIL 1, 2012 Hi family: PI had a Local Service Learning Day (LSLD) on 3/17/2012. We had 5 people in attendance. We went through the process of forming a new group. Trusted Servants were elected, duties and responsibilities were discussed at the group and area levels. On 3/31/2012 I did attend Region PI. The Region is having some issues at this time. Dagwood has resigned as Region PI chair. I did have the opportunity to talk to people from other areas and compared to most of the state our area is doing well. PI WANTS YOU: Here are some areas where we need people! Brainstorming ideas Phone line Meeting Lists we need people to deliver them to institutions Participation for Local Service Learning Days People to be at booths (fairs, mental health conferences, etc) People to help with presentations. We do have a presentation schedule for the 24th of this month. Also at the Behavioral Health Conference in May. You don t need a certain amount of clean time to attend a PI meeting!! 8 8 P a g e Sunday Morning Reflections- Sunday Morning Reflections as always is the best damn home group in town. We have had 177 in attendance for the month of march and $ in 7 th tradition. We donated $65.00 to area $19.00 to region and $9.50 to world. Rent and lit order were paid. Ladies & Gents- Hello Family. My name is Chad And I am an addict. Our group meets every Sunday night at 6:15pm in the basement of Bryan LGH West in Conference room C. Meeting content is going strong but we are looking for a few more people to commit to either a home group or a service position. We hada total of 129 addicts, 14 of which were newcomers. The 7 th tradition brought in $ for the month. It has been distributed in the following order to the following areas: 1) $20.00 for rent 2) $1.00 per week for convention newcomer books ($4) total 3) $46.25 to Literature committee to replenish supplies 4) $65.98 to ASC as a group donation We have started a couple New things in our group. They are the taking requests for ideas and or designs for the next Home Group T-Shirt & we are collecting money every week to purchase a set of NA books from our literature committee to give to newcomers at this year s NRCNA convention in Hastings. We are giving $15.00 to ASC this month. Mark W Treasurer Tuesday VA- Loving family, Report for Tues 9:00am VA 4 recovery group is new and growing 7 th tradition has netted $59.00 which was used for basic text and key tags. Mark R. Wednesday Night Wild Women- Weds Wild Women is thriving with a total attendance of 32 and 3 newcomers, we had a total of $41.00 in 7 th tradition. And paid $29.00 for rent and a $10.00 lit order. Cat Wednesday Welcome Home- Hello family my name is Ashley and I am an addict. For the month of March Wednesday Night Welcome Home had 169 in attendance welcoming

We ve had our share of wonderful newcomers and they are staying. We get at least 2-3 newcomers each Thursday. Many of them returning for further meetings. Saturday has 1 to 2 newcomers per week. Gave $10.00 rent, $20.44 To ASC We also had a $6.00 lit order. Katie G Friday Happy Havelock- We ve had great meetings this month- total attendance was 158 with 16 newcomers. We have a $ donation to area and a lit order of $ Come and see us for some Great recovery. Jenny T Friday Lost & Found- Hello Family, We ve had 20 newcomers, attendance of 81, 7 th tradition of $ Rent was paid of $10.00, supplies of $12.00, lit of $28.00, donation of $35.00 Dan M Friday Guardian Angels- Starting balance of $7.07,7 th tradition of $24.45,paid $10.00 rent have a prudent Reserve of $20.00 left us with a balance of $1.52 Hello family, the month is going well. Attendance was 30 addicts. Its great to see the meeting going strong.
